Also, there's no point using old saves as they'll throw errors too, so you will need to start a new game regardless.

The latest update only has 1 vanilla scene.
The progress should be straightforward up until the journal part. Once there, you have the quest tracker. There are no hidden paths.

Are you talking about the day/time conditions for the quests? If yes, you can click on the
to skip/bypass the time.There is no walkthrough because the game is straight forward, regarding paths, even after the journal(quest tracker) comes into play.
