VN - Ren'Py - Power [Ch.1] [KrownGames]

Just finished the first chapter of Power. Story’s okay so far, nothing amazing but it’s early so I’ll give it time. The MC kind of comes off as a jerk though. Maybe there’s some backstory we haven’t seen yet, but this release didn’t really give us any hints.

One thing that really stood out to me was the lack of music. I get that licenses can be pricey, but even some free tracks would help a lot. Playing in silence makes it feel a bit flat.

Also, there was only one choice the whole time, which made it feel more like a kinetic novel than an AVN. Hoping the next chapter has more interactivity.

The models for the girls are nice, really liked the designs, but with just mouth/lip movement and no real pose variety, it feels a little stiff. Adding some more animations would make a big difference.

Overall, not the strongest start but that’s normal for some first releases. I’ll probably check out the next chapter and see if things improve.

Ch.1

Story of violent and arrogant white knight MC is saving damsels in distress. I lost interest in part where MC does open personal investigation against a guy who he had little scuffle in a party. Because of a girl he does not know. What kind of investigation? The kind where his lawyer is best to leave town before word gets out. So pretty normal power fantasy with psycho MC.

MC acts like a piece of shit, but women don´t care as they all flirt with him because he is handsome. None of the characters feel relatable and the main story feels immature.

Visual quality is very high. Women have beautiful faces. But artistic quality is low. Talking heads 99% of game and the only sex scene with bar slut felt forced and passionless. But the blowjob scene did look good, so i don´t wanna be 100% hater.

I recently played this game and it turned out to be an incredible experience. The graphics and rendering quality are absolutely stunning, with every scene looking vibrant and detailed. The gameplay itself is engaging and enjoyable, keeping me hooked from start to finish. What impressed me most was how smooth everything felt, from the controls to the overall atmosphere. It’s not just visually beautiful, but also extremely fun to play. I genuinely enjoyed every moment and I can confidently say this is one of those games worth trying. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for both a visually impressive and deeply enjoyable gaming experience.

An AVN game with no music or sound effects at all—feels like going back 10 years. Honestly terrible that they dared to release a demo like this, as if there’s no competition in the market. The story suddenly throws you into a club out of nowhere, with zero background or buildup.


On the positive side: the models are well-made, the girls look great—credit where it’s due.
But the downsides are exactly what I mentioned above.


I’d give it a 5/10 at best.
(And don’t even argue that “people turn the music off anyway.” Yeah, if the music sucks, of course they’ll mute it. That’s not the point. Look at how the successful older titles handled it.)

pretty solid start. It’s got that slow-burn vibe where you can tell things are being set up for something bigger. every character so far feels like they have their own depth, and the LIs are awesome — definitely the kind of cast you want to get to know better. renders look great too.

that said, we still don’t know much about the characters or their backgrounds yet. and sometimes the transition between scenes feels a little too quick, like it just jumps forward before you can fully settle in. not a dealbreaker, but it does pull you out for a second.

still, I get the sense the dev is saving a lot for future chapters. if they keep building on this foundation, it could really turn into something special. for now though, I’m giving it a 4/5 and waiting to see where the next updates take us.

Great start. It's nice when a dev creates a world that isn't based in a school setting. The characters in this story all have problems they are facing and each person we meet has entirely different personalities. I really look forward to seeing what Krown does with this one.

I feel like there is great potential here. Episode 1 is sort of slow burnish but I am highly intrigued by this AVN.

LI's are good looking and have some personality/background already. Signs of conspiracy and organized crime are also present. This isn't just about a musician, there is way more going on here and I'm interested in finding out more.
