Ren'Py - Power Vacuum [Ch. 12 Official] [What? Why? Games]

I really tried with this one but unfortunately the bad eventually outweighed the good. Matters of personal taste I think.

The visuals are mostly excellent and the writing is sometimes genuinely really funny, but it so often veers into such tasteless territory that I can't enjoy it, and it's never quite as clever as it thinks it is. The game seems to really relish including quite a lot of gross shit, and I'm never quite sure whether it's just to be funny or because some people are into that, but either way it does nothing good for me.

Also, and I know this is on me for my personal tastes, but I find the heavy handedness of the incest theme a bit off-putting. Some of us prefer the layer of abstraction you get through the thin veil of patreon-friendly fauxcest, but that is not an option here, just three generations of a family all drugging and raping each other... like, nah that's not hot to me.

It's a shame because most of the characters are good and the scenes are well constructed, but I can't get off under these conditions man

The entire game is essentially NTR whether or not you turn it off. There's always going to be that pervy grandpa around trying to fuck the girls, and he's always going to be spying on you and your girls, no way around it. Also, the gameplay sucks ass. It's just finding events at specific times. Events you've already seen or don't do anything at all are still there too so it's just more clutter you have to navigate through. The game also forces you to see stuff even if you have 0 interest in it, like exhibitionism, lesbian stuff, naked old men and more. It's just fucking gross and you can't customize anything so I hope you love seeing wrinkly old man balls and dick. As for the writing, it's pretty lame. It has that lolsofunny humor which is something you'd see fresh out of highschool. It's just stupid. The MC is written to be a gigantic push over bitch and only way, way later does he get muscles and start being even a tiny bit assertive. The writing between characters also is just extremely unbelievable and stupid. It's not even close to how family members would act, and this is even before the "corruption". The final nail in the coffin for me was when your sister gets naked Infront of 2 old men and shows off for them and then sucks your dick and shows them that she swallows your cum. NTR is supposed to be off btw. She apologizes after and your beta cuck MC just says ok ur forgiven. No choice or say in the matter at all. Graphically, the game just looks dated. The games been around since 2019 and man does it show. The models are really dated and bland, the girls don't even look good. I guess overall, the game is just dated, ugly, disgusting and tedious to play through. The only good thing I guess I can say is that at least it has a lot of content, even though it's a pain in the ass to play through, and a turn off as well. Avoid unless for some reason you really like seeing old men looking at your girls and you enjoy tedious gameplay to see dated graphics.

I give this game a terrible rating. It's basically two paths- the ntr/cuck or lesbian/simp/sub loser. In one version the disgusting grandfather fucks the women if you lose the battle to influence them. This is so retarded that only desperate losers would play this. The grandfather is a disgusting blotch so it isn't even remotely believable that three women would fuck him because he played his cards right unless they had no brains.

The other version is the 80% lesbo version where even the mom is ok with lesbo shit with her daughters. This makes the whole buildup with the MC pointless since Mom is basically the simps favorite character-the open 24/7 vagina with no preference unless it's female. The Mc just gets put in the sub position and gets labeled the premature ejaculator. Sure there will be some action but only how the mom says while she throws it at women.

I thought the game had some good points but it didn't last long. Once the mom made a crack about kissing her daughter while pressing their tits together I realized this is just a simp game.

The art was ok but the expressions are too unreal. It seems to go with parody type games that the faces make stupid expressions for some reason.

Anyway if you want to be cucked or made a pathetic simp this is the game for you. 1/5 stars.

Since I last played power vacuum. I have dabbled in a blackheart game, Alyssa, burning desires and I can honestly say, this game beats them all. I put this game over Milfy City and they are pretty much clones of each other. For some reason It took me a bit. before I figured out how to post reviews so here I am to say this weg is top notch.

This has a decent set of animations. It has a set of stand~alone expansion packs which are all non~canon. The harem is like a dozen chicks deep and growing. If you actually play through this, know, that what a lot of people call 'the grind' does not apply here. Chicks' appearences at the same time of day in different locations allows for you to do a, "you today &you tomorrow", all the while those same two chicks will become available solo at different times on different days. Dev has a lot of variables on their plate and I can sense that they wanted to weave these new strands into the start but did not want to redo already established dialogue.

About 30% of the animations are pointed at like nothing at all such as straight down a woman's throat while she moans. Or from the side at an askew angle where you see one nipple of one boob and her face is stuffed into her armpit.

Another 30% are a zoom in of testicles or a wide overhead angle of missionary or worse.

The other 40% are what keeps me coming back. Dev has motion picture figured out. It's the camera angles that separates this from 'one of the good ones' to 'potentially the best'. That's all it takes is making the camera a little more straight please.

Having started recently, I feel like the game doesn't have the best story and there is sooo many reset / skip days until a certain events to do.
Granted, that is way better around the 7th chapter because there is more sexy times or interesting scenarios.

Overall ? I like the diversity of models and characters (each main one has many scenes, like my favorite Tiff) but half of the chapters are a slog fest.
I really like the "alternative scenarios" that are more recently more developed and not just a lazy few clicks animations.

I will bump it up to 4 if the dev continues on the good recent track (because like I said, at least 2/3 was boring at first).

What a nice surprise this game is. I translated it devoured it. Lots of second degree, great humor (I found myself laughing out loud), beautiful girls, twisted but funny situations, great dialogues and references. The interface is excellent BRAVO

The control of the NTR is possible and is minimal in some cases.

I really liked this game, its graphic quality and a score of 5 is well deserved given the work done in all areas.

I do not hesitate to say that PV is a must have! Looking forward to the conclusion and a sequel!

Played this game and enjoyed the whole journey. The story is great. The humor had me laughing. The fun times were fun. All around worth playing. I caught up on chapter 12. Looking forward to the rest of the game.

This writing is too good for just one guy to have written it. There is clearly a woman's hand at work here; the fact that all of these women are so fleshed-out and fully realized, on this site? No way. My friend, if your day job isn't as a writer, it certainly should be.

Couple notes:

People complaining that there's still "unavoidable NTR" because the antagonist gropes or leers at the women in this game, please don't leave the house without your helmet, because you will not survive the real world.

People complaining that the MC is a spineless beta-male cuck, enjoy living with your dude roommates for the rest of your life, because I don't think you've ever interacted with a real woman. I'm sorry he's not holding them down and rubbing his no-chin neckbeard on their bellies like your cool friend Kyle who totally gets all the chicks and won't shut up about it at recess. And despite what your drunk stepdad tells you when he hits you with his belt for crying at 'The Fox and the Hound', you're not a pussy, you're just bad at feelings.

Just want to start off by saying this is by far the most fun i have ever had while playing an adult game. Easily my favorite 3dcg game of all time. The story is unique as are the characters that come along with it. The writing makes it to where the player is always engaged and i would say it's mostly because of how well the story is written with a perfect mix of comedy and drama. Speaking of comedy this is the most i have ever laughed while playing a sandbox game. Seriously. I can give a rating for each category for the game, but i'm lazy so to make it short i would give each category a 10/10. The animations are top notch and the amount of content within the game is huge. Very minimal grind(if you want to even call it that since there is a built in guide of sorts that walks you through every step). Anyway amazing game overall. Highly recommend!

So much can be said but I'll be short.
1. Sexy content. Obviously this is the most important part of a game like this. The scenes are hot and worth coming back to for replays.

2. Story is good. The story is actually compelling and grows on you as you play. I'm not actually invested in these characters and what happens next which is something I never though I would say about a game like this.

3. Humor is perfect. I actually catch myself laughing out loud at some of these lines. When my brain is not in gooner mode I go back and replay scenes to actually read everything and the amount of one-liners and quips makes me feel like I'm reading an Aaron Sorkin screenplay.

It's a slow burner AVN, which I find enjoyable.

The art is great,
I think Cath as MC family art design is slightly less pleasing the eyes than Amber's family and Tefnut,but it fit the story as entertaining as she is.

I think this VN deserve a lot more reader,so I'm giving the 5 out 5.

I love the design of the girls, and the idea of the story, It's very hot. The problem is that it gets so tedious to get the scenes with the free roam, just to get maybe less than 5 minutes of animations. If there was an option to skip free roam then maybe I will give more like 4 or 5 stars

This another game ruined by being sandbox. Having to juggle a bunch of events each day so you don't just spam the time skip really takes you out of the mood. I'll have a sexy but short scene and then the next scene will be just massive dialog with a few sexy teasing pic and I've gone soft by the time I get to the next sexy event.

Characters are also flat and a lot of things they say feel like they're just there to advance the plot. It's kind of humorous at times and they talk about some silly things during sex but it also doesn't help build the mood.

Renders are decent though but the girls that get introduced later are way better. They clearly got better learning as they go but that's a problem because now we're stuck with the old models as the family that you're invested in.

TL;DR: Just download a save file and browse the gallery, then move onto another game

The mother is very hot, and the NTR scenes are also very hot. The author has a very good grasp of NTR, and the animation and rendering are also in line with my preferences. If you don't hate the old bastard too much, this work is worth playing for NTR fans.

Taking this dim and ugly grandpa into this game ruins the fun for me right from the start.

The characters are boring, not particularly pretty and it's all more talk than action.

Very rarely have i played a game with such a pathetic, spineless beta-male as the main character in this game.

Hes not a harem protagonist, Hes a NTR protagonist.

I saw the femdom tag, but didnt think much of it. More often than not, the femdom is usually just a scene or two, and i can get over it.

The dialogue is witty at first, but it wears thin incredibly fast. Every character has an endless stream of witty banter that never fucking ends. Most of the jokes are mid, so its an endless stream of lame jokes.

Im not a humorless cunt, I like humor. Taffy Tales used to make me crack up, (until i dropped that game for adding AI art). The humor in this game just sucks and has zero comedic timing.

Im gonna have to say that this game is the weirdest games i've played. That's because I played it years ago and I didn't like it. Years after I gave it another chance because I liked its renders and god damn did I feel stupid for dropping it. The NTR not been Cannon is the only bad thing in it

It could be an amazing top notch game if:

- The characters had differentiate personalities reflected in their dialogues. They speak almost like a hive mind entity controlling different bodies...

- The plot had any sort of originality. If you played multiple games on this site, you already played games with this very same tropes and concepts.

- The updates being more frequent. Is not reasonable that a project that gets +5k a month, makes 1 update per year, 2 in the best case scenario. Some argue that the updates are huge, which is easy to dismiss if you compare to other developers updates through a year and sum them together... Definitively NO, the updates are not big enough compared with their cadence and the money the project is making.

On the positive side:

- Renders and animations are amazing, surely one of the best you can find on the big projects of this website. Still don't overshadow the flaws on this project.
