It’s very immensely expanded world with multiple faction made it lived in, the fact we can glean other kingdom from NPC standpoint is a nice world building detail.
However, it also massively thrown together ambiguous feature has made the game bloated under the guise of multiple branching paths.
There's just not much direction when playing the game, and I don’t mean controls or functions. I mean the explanations that could be given through a guide or NPCs.
It’s an undeniably big world with many little secrets tucked away, but it lacks indicators or signs to help point players toward them.
Not to mention, there’s a ton of extra content meant for experienced players, which can be very distracting for newcomers since it’s accessible fairly early.
There are also multiple weird mechanic decision that bog down the experience, like:
Poor knight dedicated his very soul for idealistic utopia that can never be achieved, every princess isn’t prisoner inside their wall but it’s legacy, a swing of a sword and cheap word will never be enough to save these damsels.
Play it if you want to experience the story and use cheat for full indulgence. The Music and h-scene animation is great but hard to access since you’re a knight with no land to call your own.

- It plays like hack and slash, but it leans heavily on management that has zero function implemented in the game.
- Intractable/gift item meld together to the point it’s unclear which item player can gave out, it would been really useful to know diplomacy can be raise by gifting [frog girl bath water] to mouse princess.
- Do you know you can fly? Of course not, I know wing icon should grant me the ability to fly, but the introduction to hazard area is always indicated automatically by walking and taking damage.
- New Game plus is a nightmare, imagine undoing all of player hard work only to have small part carried over in the next run.
