having to press a button to not be as slow as a snail in rpgm games is never not noticable
Thats obvious.
What I meant was: "stamina system for running".
Running a bit, immediately attacking - works fine (using only a little bit of stamina with running).
90% of an already biased audience that were there for the first goblin game? It shouldn't have been a vote in the first place, as I already said in the comment you are replying on. Dev should pick a path and stick to it. Votes are fine for cosmetics (and sometimes for priority setting if properly balanced) but too many games turn to shit because votes that direct the story itself are overwhelmed by a biased audience.
Dev wrote that he did the goblin image for MC long before the human image (in game 2).
This means he went back to his original plans for game 2, and I personally think he did well with that.
This things only clear in the hindsight. If dev initially wanted to switch to human MC, there must be reason for that like lack of support etc, and if second one gets abandoned as well... ...
Reason is that a lot of ppl wished to have goblin MC (like devs original intention).
Then he did the poll. Then he got back to his original intention.
Btw: when a poll turns out 60:40, and dev goes to the 40 path, most ppl will understand
If a poll turns out 90:10, then 90% will not understand.
Its the right of a dev to do a poll whenever he likes.
But he is not bound to the result, if the result is not as clear as 90:10
... and think they are the mc himself, so unless you think you look ugly, short and want to act as a goblin to try to corrupt the girls otherwise player usually want to be the handsome, playboy white knight prince(except for those dei shithead).
