Version 1.5
Gameplay - 2.5/5
Combat is not real; all the content is single target duels and the depth for combat mechanics is basically to spam charge TP and unleash your latest move. Other than that, the different POVs make up for the lackluster combat although the latter also make some content a bit stale. I liked the rescue missions but the execution is pretty bad. The NG+ doesn't have enough extra content or benefits so it is only replayable once to get either the true ending or one of the bad endings, since that will probably be enough to get all the scenes.
Story - 3.5/5
It is a extremely lighthearted plot with really convenient points to make up the scenes. There is basically nothing edgy, deep or special but I think that can also be a good thing; not every game needs to have 30h long expositions of a character's psyche, specially not a H-game. It loses some points for having a rather simple ending scheme and the payoff is mediocre.
Characters - 4/5
To be honest, I was more interested about Elise and the king than the princess herself. This one is a bit biased because I just love diverse rosters. The variety was a nice way to balance the otherwise lack of scene variety. Being able to "corrupt" every character is the cherry on top. I just wish it was better reflected in the gameplay.
Scenes - 3.5/5
The scenes are high-quality, the art is nice and there is a variety of scenarios that play with the RPG elements well, e.g. what you do on other characters influence the NPCs reactions to other characters POV. Despite that, I feel that the game falls in the usual problem with a lot of games with more than one character - that is, the lack of depth for specific scenes. Some plots are well explored like how Elise interacts every time the princess is gone and that develops into different scenes. However, other ones feel like filler because, while the art is nice, they tend to reuse a lot of assets to the point it feels repetitive. Also, should've had more Elise scenes.
Overall - 3.5/5. Not impressive but a bit above average thanks to the simple yet well put together elements and art.
