Problem with MEGA

So recently I've had this problem with MEGA itself for a few months now and because of it, I've been using other Download mediums/Torrents and I hope someone has had this issue before. I'll explain:

So I download a file (Any file), I'm downloading while my kb/s (Yeah my download speed is abysmal but that's not the point) is changing (like 320kb/s, 402kb/s you get the idea) until my download reaches a certain threshold (let's say around 400 MB), my kb/s stops changing (That number basically flatlines like a cardiograph and gets stuck at one number) and the download is stuck (No error messages, no "You reached your limit" messages, NOTHING! Just gets stuck)! I put the download on pause and resume: It doesn't resume at all and it shows me "- kb/s" instead of a number. I cannot download anything significant at all from MEGA because of this issue and it's driving me nuts. In contrast, other mirrors work extremely well in comparison!

If anyone can please help me with this strange occurrence with MEGA, I'm ready to listen to suggestions.

Might be a RAM issue - downloading from Mega in-browser uses browser cache which can have way less memory available than you might expect. There are a few ways around that - trust Kim Dotcom and use the Mega app, install an unholy amount of RAM*, or use and feed it with all the links you have.

*Seriously, if you have enough that Windows doesn't start trying to swap or compress stuff you'll be on the wrong side of 20GB from a fresh boot.

It cannot be a RAM issue because I have 32GB of it.
I have probably found the issue and it's embarrassing to say but I think it's my ISP and I cannot solve this one! I'm sorry for bothering everyone but I guess I'll stick to downloading torrents TYVM.

*twisted husk noises*

Heh, you would think that would be plenty . . .
I thought it would be plenty until I maxed out my motherboard and saw how things go with significant headroom.

Not a bad solution. Torrents handle connection drops and system restarts gracefully.

Try downloading the mega app for your computer. It bumps your capacity and gives you a resume function outside of your browser so you can close your browser and not lose progress. Just use a disposable email to create a free account. Vpn changes for data limit bypass still works with it that way.
