Problem with older HTML games

Hi, i am having problems with save from some HTML games, a example is "Inner Bimbo", i played normally one day and the next when i tried to load my game i got:



Next was the game College Daze, when the save send me all the way back to the beginning of the game. I use Firefox, can anyone help please?

Looking it up there were comments on there being an issue with cross-domain transfers of data and also comments on it possibly being an add-on issue. Also many of the results mentioned javascript running.

For the first, the answer given was to run it locally
For the second, the answer given was to try running firefox in safemode to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings).
