Problem with text showing

Hello!

I'm not actually sure if anybody can answer this, but here goes nothing:

I torrented Witch 2: Hell Adventure. Everything went smooth until I wanted to play the game. At this point all the text showed up as "0".
The game feels somewhat like Night of Revenge in its side-scroller type game. Though, supposedly Witch 2 has more decisions etc. I obviously never really got around to those as there wasn't any text.

So, any ideas on how to fix the text issue?

can you take a screenshot of it

if you have windows 10 hold down windows key + shift = s or print screen and then open a photo edit and paste and save

All text, except very few places, looks like this.

the game is on steam

go to the game in steam and click on properties and then click on local files and click on verify integrity

I'm aware that it is on steam, but like I said; I torrented it. Mainly because I'm not all too keen on having these sorts of games on my Steam account.
