Problems with games for MAC

When I download a file that includes version for several OS (Window, Linux and Mac) and try to open the game for Mac, it won't open.

When the file is only for Mac it opens normally.

Can anyone help me solve this problem?

I don't have a mac myself but I see a lot of mac users having issues in various threads. It seems to be an issue with permissions.
Here is one way to give the app permission to run properly:

You can also do it manually (chmod) but I don't know the commands.

I snipped this from a post made by cold_arctus in a game thread, hope it helps:

For chmod: open Terminal.app and type:
chmod -R a+x [drag and drop game.app into your terminal window] hit enter.

Check out BatChmod also. Its a easy app that will help you set file permissions recursively with a GUI. I can't post links yet but its an easy Google search away.

Can anyone help a mac user? this game downloads just fine. but when I click the game icon it says it cannot open. Any help?
