Problems with recent SiglusEngine VN games

I'm having some surprising trouble running multiple SiglusEngine games (e.g. Inda no Himekishi Janne Reborn, Kuroinu Gaiden - In'yoku no Daishoukan). Both include crack EXEs which I've applied along with the DLL. I'm in Japanese locale with English as the primary language (so I can read the UI). However, launching the game does nothing - launch, brief busy cursor, and nothing. No errors or anything. Windows 11 (on ARM, but that's never caused issues before).

Any ideas?

I've never had trouble running pretty much any eroge in the past, via some combination of Japanese Locale, patches, registry updates, admin privileges, etc. This is frustrating me.

I'm not grumpy, I'm just coded that way.

What is your anti-virus saying ?

Standard Windows Security; nothing in the log. Turned it off to be sure, tried running Siglus as admin; nothing. The lack of errors is the most annoying part, as it gives me nothing to search on and troubleshoot. Almost like dealing with a Mac.

It the cracks that are concerned by the anti-virus more than the games once "cracked".

If anyone else comes across this, I'm finding that while almost everything runs on Windows 11 ARM, some titles require turning on strict emulation compatibility; especially anything that had DRM involved. With a few tweaks the above games run fine now.

Hi, sorry for nercroing the thread, I'm also facing the same issue, especially for the game Kuroinu Gaiden - In'yoku no Daishoukan, the crack didn't work at all, can you tell me more about you fixed it and the so called 'emulation compatibility'? This is seriously frustrating, any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
