Problems with RPGVX Ace

Every time I try to play a game on Ace a notification pops up saying that there is a missing file I already tried to download Ace again it didn't work, I downloaded the game again and it didn't work either. I don't know what else to do.

Did you already download and install VX Ace RTP ?

Are you running the game in Japanese locale?

personally I use the Xupefei locale-emulator, works nicely.

you can also try copying the game files into a path without "weird" characters. (no ä, ß, ç etc.).
Like D:\games\Investigator\ or some such.
