Preferred programming language or engine?

I found a good way to start (since starting out is slow) is to basically flesh out tools or game features, so that when a project comes along, you just copy your own code, sue yourself, wait? sue yourself?

I imagine that if you are like me, one of the reasons you are looking for a project is that you are hoping to find motivation, since working on your own isn't very satisfying.

If you are interested, may I make a suggestion (an hence this long reply)?

Hello. Game designer here, if you are okay with, I will be happy to give you designs i've made (and showed to few people at f95 before) and even make something that fits what you wish to make!

Warning, I hooked them up with a dev I know in need of a programmer (Bonds of Blood).
They left their team & discord-ignored everyone (inc. me) after a week in.
So, no idea what's the big game was there, maybe they stole some source or whatnot, but there's that.
They're also namechanged to Shankly#0001
I'll update this post if/when the situation resolves
