It is hard to tell since you never have access to the code. For me those are the games that don't have errors, saves from older versions are compatible, RPGM games don't stuck if you "overclick" them, no delay when switching rooms (on opening the door). Some mini-games inside. A lot of customization in the UI (while this is simple, not a lot of devs do it). While Unity is capable of way greater games than RenPy and RPGM, people still use the same stuff to make another BB clone.

Seeing the code, which is somewhat possible, is not necessary as you pointed out, we see the functional result. I like the rest of your points. As for BB, is it the end all be all of porn games? There are only so many dynamics to writing. I'm a writer and producer, it is basically adaptions of Shakespeare and his influences in most every story today.

You should have called the thread "best gameplay" or something, because code can be horrible, but still work like a charm for the user, and it can be written by someone with awesome skills and still not be playable.
