I'm being very generous rating this 5/5 now, as the game lacks content and has several issues, but all the issues are easy to fix and the gameplay is already solid. So while this game isn't
amazing now, it without a doubt deserves attention.
Pros:
+ Lots of monsters and H-animations. Surprising for a demo
+ Gameplay loop is close to perfect already. Movement feels good. Enemies are challenging and interesting to fight. Map is interesting to explore (albeit empty)
+ X-ray view
+ Text is hot
+ Pregnancy system
Cons:
- Game is way too zoomed out and we don't see much of the H-animations. For now, use
this as workaround
- Not much to do yet, map is beautiful but feels like it has a lot of empty deadzones that wait to be filled.
- The drawing isn't bad, but lacks a bit of polish/details. Hopefully the artist manages to improve his drawing over time.
- Many bugs / problems that are easy to fix: control keys are a bit awkward, you can use WASD or arrow keys to move but only WASD to mash out, Pressing Esc instantly closes the game which is stupid.
Neutral:
- The difficulty is EXTREMELY brutal and the game is more meant as a Die & Retry rather than an actual RPG. It is actually winnable with enough skill, but expect to lose every 5 minutes for several of your first playthroughs. All the game content is rape-on-loss though, so you won't really miss anything by losing.
I'm curious to see what other content will be added in the future, whether the monsters you bring into the world will help you in battle, etc.
