If you want her to pursue it, she can. If you want her to stop pursuing it, or change the nature of the encounter, there's a point where it can be done as well.

The incest patch in this case basically returns the mother/son type relationship, as opposed to the "father's son & father's girlfriend" relationship.
It had to be changed because Patreon, but a dedicated modder made it possible to return the old relations via an incest patch.

On a sidenote, the incest kink and what it enables (if Myriam's in to it) is something that isn't caused by the patch.
Without it, it's Myriam exploring a kink through her (current then later former) boyfriend's Son. Her daughter does not get involved at all.

Will Danny push her into stuff that she wouldn't have done otherwise? Probably. But she may end up loving it too, even if the end result is a corrupted Myriam, who is darker and perhaps less likeable than she is now?

Time, our choices for Myriam as players, without forgetting the time, energy and patience of Zorlun in programming all the possibilities will tell... The answer to the next episode, Kapow ! (oops, sorry, could not avoid the temptation of the TV reference :-D, though it's veeery old)

Granted I could be completely missing the choice to trigger this because im playing on a version that is currently 1 behind because i wanted to try and wait for more content via this first date line update plus i enjoy playing around with some of the mods so...yeah

Completely wrong. In the original, before Patreon intervention, Anthony and Myriam were married, and Katherine and Marc were their children. Before you make assertive statements, check what you are saying, please, and if someone told you that, tell them the same. There are only a hundred (I think taken literally, even more than that) posts about that, included from Zorlun himself.

This may be one of those Mandella Effect things but I too remember both children being Myriam's from the start before Patreon clamped down. It's quite possible Zorlun is saying that now so Patreon doesn't have any excuse to shut them down.

In the rewritten setting, but in the first release, Myriam was the mother of the two (before Patreon going nuclear).
I don't remember ever saying otherwise.

That is exactly how it is in the current iteration of the game. What I am saying is that the incest patch changes that, and makes Marc her son, like he was in the initial releases of the game.
