Unreal Engine - Completed - Project Werewulf [2025-09-22 hotfix3] [FTR Game Studio]

    Krieger Season 1-6

This game is the middle of a long string of copy paste games that follow the same formula; Looks to have a beautiful model and good graphics, sure, but make no mistake, this game will make your D go flacid. LOOONG hours of going from point A to point B, and then mooore long hours to go to point C and so forth. All to get the most generic useless scenes ever. Good graphics, but horrible gameplay and no fappability. Even the voice acting is bland.

Save hours of your life, you won't get anything out of this game.
    Not worth it at all.

The only good use for this game is understanding better the formula these "developers" are following in order to push these cashgrab games.

A pretty solid game considering the resources and manpower that went into it. 3 is by no means a bad rating for something like this, but I have some general thoughts regarding games like this that I think developers (not necessarily of this game) should keep in mind.

    The good:
    1. Great setting. A lot of good stuff to work with, can leverage both horror and action elements at any time to switch up the pace and keep the player engaged
    2. Excellent performance. This game performs better than most AAA titles that have plastic-looking, doll-like character models that are sometimes worse-looking than the ones in this game.
    3. Speaking of character models, they're great, along the rest of the graphics.
    4. Story is mildly interesting, good enough to keep you engaged if you decide to pay attention to it instead of just running around shooting stuff and getting boned.
    5. VA is fine for a title like this.
    The bad:
    1. Glitches and bugs. None have broken my game to the point of needing to restart, but you will run into them: cinematics starting and playing for a while with the screen being black, making you unable to see anything for the first few seconds; character model freakouts (i.e. one tit exploding because physics broke, taking up half of the screen as a jagged mess of textures); The UI sometimes not responding (or not immediately responding) to your actions; etc.
    2. The jank. You probably knew this game was going to be janky the moment you saw the pictures. It's there, it's not as bad as in other games of similar style, but it's nevertheless annoying.
    3. The level design. It's a mixture of labyrinthian corridors with vague tasks that have you running around looking for a McGuffin that's hidden on the floor in plain sight because the lighting in that spot sucks and you can't see shit. This is pretty difficult to resolve naturally without simply pointing the player directly towards the target object, and it seriously detracts from the game's overall quality when implemented poorly.
    4. No sense of progression. Easiest way to solve would be to add more weapons and/or unique werewolf traits/abilities.
    The ugly:
    1. Referencing the first point from the list of good things, a lot of potential is wasted. The horror doesn't work well, mostly because you never feel desperate enough to feel anything. Death, when it comes, doesn't feel impactful. The game tries to instill you with a sense of dread and isolation in some sections, but it's bland and not very immersive due to several factors:
      1. Wacky camera placement
      2. Lack of ambience, both auditory and visual. Everything feels static and boring, so you never really feel jumpy.
      3. Enemies that run directly at you.
      4. General lack of impact, whether it's being attacked by enemies, dying, or just shooting your gun.
    2. Poor UX (nitpick) - maybe it was just me, but the UI felt somewhat unresponsive. Clicking on things sometimes resulted in nothing happening (seemingly), and there is a general lack of feedback from doing stuff in the menus. Adding simple ripple effects to buttons is very easy if code is clean and that alone would improve the user experience tremendously.
    3. The sex. It is meh. Animations are meh, the effects are meh, there are no consequences to the MC being bred by the things that want to breed her... No consequences to sex in general. You'd expect the lycans to be brutal in their mating, but their animations are just as bland, slow, and unimpactful as those of human NPCs, and you never feel like the MC suffers for it even though the game tries to portray it as a negative thing.
Some general thoughts, not necessarily for this game, but for all games of this type in general:
    • These games always feel off because they try to have two core game loops: the porn and the action. I say, forget about the sex and focus on the action first. Most of the time, if you're immersed in the game, you won't be looking at your character's ass when you're shooting stuff. Tighten the movement, bring the camera closer, make it more like Mass Effect or Resident Evil. Better yet, make it first-person, which will kill two birds with one stone: no need to bother yourself with jank, and a natural boost to immersion/horror. Leave the sexy stuff for actual sex, which can come after the core loop is working well enough for players to actually enjoy it.
    • Add minimal compass/guidance UI which would lead the players to the rooms where they need to complete certain tasks or find certain things. You don't show the player where the McGuffin is exactly, but you also don't have them running off on a wild goose chase.
    • Alien: Isolation would like to say hello in terms of how the lycans should be handled in this game. They should be rarer, deadlier, and losing to them should carry far more consequences than just a simple sex scene that ends with you shooting the thing in the face afterwards. The Alpha's lair is riddled with pregnant women. That doesn't necessarily mean you need a pregnancy system for the MC, but it could carry different risks that would hinder the player's progress or add new and interesting mechanics to the game. Things like progressive infection, loss and gain of certain abilities, and physical changes come to mind.
    • This one's controversial, but I'd say no to a character creator. Let the player change the hair, the clothing, and perhaps some textures that don't alter the model like makeup, and don't burden yourself with any of the other fancy stuff. You'll save yourself some time and resources, and the loss is honestly negligible in this game.
I can't think of anything else at the moment.

Quiet enjoyable game, feels like a real game and not just a slaped together project... sure there are its flaws but overall and compared to other stuff on here its pretty good!
Graphics and models are nice and there is a lot of content

The game has some nice features, and it’s clear the dev put serious time into it, but overall it feels broken and clunky. Playing it is like booting up some unreleased project from the early 2000s: rough edges everywhere, stiff controls and an overall sense that it wasn’t ready.

There are flashes of potential: character models look decent at times, the atmosphere works in spots, yet the gameplay itself is frustrating and often unplayable. Exploration feels like guesswork, interactions are awkward and the experience just doesn’t feel satisfying.

Probably could’ve been something solid with much more polish, but right now it’s hard to recommend.

The gameplay is fun enough to keep you engaged. If you're going in expecting a CoD or half-life, just get out before you're disappointed. The AI needs some work, namely a detection system with a line of sight for NPC's - them shooting you from 40 miles away is a bit frustrating... The maps are nice and sound is immersive enough imo. The character model and customization is top-tier which is great. The animations and player/defeat system could also use some work but they're generally GOOD 7/10. I would've liked it if you could select the animations you wanted or at least decide when to stop viewing a defeat animation. The story is corny but who cares.

    Game is oka'ish

graphically nice, ambiance is nice, animations and all is okay tier.

the game could be really nice, even if we play some sort of dumb girl who try to escape an horny werewolf monster who will rape you if you got caught and damaged too much (yeah... classic "heroin is a girl sooo, let's make her a slut who got rape").

so, with this, i could give it at least 3 or maybe 4 stars...

but i give it 2, why?

because game is just dumb at some moment... specifically at the point that is supposed to be the end of demo and the moment where you get caught and try to escape the werewolf alpha.
i turned around for 3 hours, before realising that i could turn some valve, to finally be able to activate a button, to unlock a door, for finally finding the god fucking damn key... that make me getting stuck in a small bathroom...where the fucking alpha werewolf will go.
so, i get stuck and kill against a room corner with absolutly no issue to get out.
werewolf alpha will spawn in the area and you barely get the time to get out and hide before he arrive to you. if he catch you, it's fucked up.

amusing, as in 1 room before, if you are up the stairs and he see you, he cant go up the stairs so he will give up and go away.

that game could have been great, but that part had me. i m fucking done.

why putting such a stupid thing in the game? it's totally dumb.

note that in the game we can pick up various clothes that have no effect except looking like a slut or not.

yeah... nice, but drop it at the alpha chasing part. it's just dumb and ridiculously hard.

A eurotrash porn game that's actually finished !

Yes the gameplay may not be the lastest aaa third person shooter success, but it's playable. At least it's not hard.

It runs well on high end hardware as well as linux and is quite beautifull.

There is enough porn and the atmosphere is superbly done.

It certainly requires lots of polishing (from UI, to controls, to animations), but at least it has a story and some action.

I really want to see more out from this team or from this developer.

    Good potential.

    DKOC

Gorgeous graphics, decent performance, nice level design, actual voice acting, good use of shadows, decent character model, and unique idea.

So, why is it 1 star you ask?

    1) Controls terribly. You can sprint for all of 2 seconds and has no visible stamina bar, so you never know when you can sprint again. Walking/crouching has same effect on stealth. You get stuck on terrain all the time. Movement isn't smooth, but rather jerky.

    2) Combat sucks. Aiming is really hard to do and its hard to hit anything beyond 5 meters away with your gun. There is no UI, so you don't know spare ammo, extra magazines, current health, etc... Hit feedback on enemies is really bad, with enemies falling to the ground as if they are dead, then getting back up again, and finally once killed they don't make a special death sound, so you feel it necessary to fire to make sure. You have to manually equip your melee weapon and you cannot hit targets at point blank range, further complicating things.

    3) Character customization is actually quite limited. Only one hairstyle I could see allows you to be blonde. Pubic hair is always black. You can only have one nipple pierced. No eye color change possible. Really hard to tell with the lighting what color my eyeliner is. The "back" button for each option doesn't work and will break customization for that thing, but clicking on something else, fixes it. If you make the hip/butt bigger than normal, the clothing mesh is broken. Also there is a free camera in shower scene, but not in character customization.

    3) Stealth sucks. Its really hard to tell if an enemy saw me or not and you can't peek around corners. Walking/crouching has same effect on noise made. Enemies can see you over obstacles when crouched, so not sure the point of ever crouching. Doing a stealth takedown requires you to be exactly behind them and they can't be alerted... but you get no prompt when in the right spot, and if you attempt it in the wrong spot, it alerts them. Guns have no silencers, so you have to do melee takedowns.

    4) I could not find any sex scenes. I played first two levels and gave up from there. The combat, movement, and stealth just makes the gameplay aspects too unenjoyable for me, so I wanted to see the sex, but couldn't find anything. No gallery option either. Seems like a missed opportunity.

    5) Environmental interaction is really bad. Sometimes things highlight to be interacted with. Sometimes they don't highlight. Sometimes a highlighted thing can't interacted with (ie 2nd map, guy with gun in bedroom, can't grab gun). Sometimes the "e" prompt doesn't appear. Other times it does, but you aren't close enough to the object yet or facing the wrong way, so the action fails. The keycard for the first map, didn't highlight or give an interact option, which made finding it very hard.

    6) I couldn't figure out how to equip clothes I found, despite reading the tutorial popup carefully. I could do so when I first find them, but then couldn't after that.

    7) The game showed me becoming a lycan/werewulf myself, but I couldn't ever figure out how to activate it.

    8) I couldn't figure out how to save it, and just gave up and rage quitted, end of map 2.

    9) There are no subtitles and environmental ambience made it really hard to know what was said.

    10) The objectives (Q) button never really gave me enough information to really know what I was doing or attempting to achieve.

    =====

The game could be good, if the above got fixed. I might even tolerate no gallery, if the gameplay was tolerable, but regrettably, I have to rate it 1 star, as the gameplay is horrendous, despite the rest of the game appearing to be very well polished and well made.

I actually think this is a good game, I mean the missions can get really tedious as you're essentially doing the same / similar tasks over and over. If you can look past this I think the game is well put together, quite enjoyed finding new clothing in the creates scattered about. There is quite a build up to actual H scenes throughout the game, as its more run and gun game play than anything else.

Once you reach the HUB you can enjoy the game and its content a bit more, looking forward to more content around this area being added. More jobs possibly, drunk in the bar, more working out scenes etc. Good job overall.

When i start it up, i get the message that my system dosent support dx12...so just to be sure i ran a dxdiag and sure enough my system is running with dx12 so yeah.....

i'd feel bad rating this game any lower, because at the end of the day its a fairly well done attempt at a 3d horror porn game, however there are a lot of glaring issues. i couldn't even finish the game thanks to what i assume was a glitched door about an hour in, but it was totally possible i missed whatever i needed to find to open the door which leads me to how much really weird and questionable design options were implemented.
lighting that makes it really hard to see regardless of brightness, items that barely highlight near you, doors and interactables that dont highlight at all so it impossible to know what you're looking for, and zero direction aside from a little check list that means nothing.
as for the H scenes, they're fine I'm into werewolves but these look and animate pretty poorly and never really feel like a threat with the exception of the alpha who's hide and avoid level was the highlight for me, fun with a good H scene imo too bad it was right before the level i ended up stuck on.

tldr it's objectively fine but i wasn't into it and got stuck

It is objectively a "good" game.

Plays smoothly, seldom encountered any bugs/glitches which required me to restart and the VA/dialogue though sometimes cringe also sneaked a few laughs out of me and is decent.

Graphically, depending on which aspect you're looking at (scenery, enemies, weapons, the character) it looks somewhere around late PS3 to early PS4 era... I say that more as a critique rather than complaint.

There are certain fundamentals for this kinda game that are missing, such as either a mini-map or a 'big' map to help navigate the area.

The character even makes the quip themselves that "for all the money spent on the station, the ships, lab equipment they didn't feel the need to improve communications?" (paraphrase)... there's just certain things in these kinda games that are pretty much 'standard fare' you've come to expect and it is lacking in this one.

Still, it was dumb fun with a passable story and decent h-content.

5/10 Not great but not bad either. Enjoyment will vary depending on personal tastes

Project Werewulf has some great parts to it. The overall visuals are stunning and I love the character models. The concept is interesting and the gameplay is decent

The issue for me was really in the sex scenes. All the scenes I encountered before deciding the game just wasn't for me and quitting the game were just very basic animation loops. If the sex scenes had at least a few phases to them then this would have been a much better game overall in terms of being an adult game

I feel like this is one of those games that is firstly just meant to be a lewd game with the emphasis more being on the game aspects of it rather than the adult aspects of it. The adult aspects kind of just feel added in there

Another issue is after the first sex scene you have some evidence of the act on the character model but subsequent scenes the model doesn't change only the first act basically makes the character model change with the one with some cum on the body but that's about it

This in itself is not a big issue if not for the fact that the sex scenes themselves were also so basic just being very simple animation loops. When captured you fade to black, then fade to the animation loop with very limited camera controls and then after a while it fades to black and your character is shown getting back up after the sex scene

Now each enemy does have a few different animation loops so that is nice but it just isn't enough in my opinion

It will depend on tastes and what else you have played but alas I have played too many other 3D and 2D adult games of this style with far better sex animations in them that I just found Project Werewulf to be lackluster in that aspect

Honestly with all the work they put in the game already to have the levels, the enemies, the combat system the dev really should have just spent a bit more time adding more to the sex side of the game and this would have been a much better game in my opinion

It is one of those things that for me I just hate it when games just tack on stuff but don't go all in on it. So for example in singleplayer games where they just randomly add a half-baked PvP or co-op mode to it. I really hate it when games do this. Either have the feature or don't. I don't like it when it is half-baked

The same is true for adult games. My personal preference is if you are going to make an adult game. Go all in or don't bother, this could have just been a lewd third person action game but then without the sex scenes. But once the decision was made to make this an adult game with sex scenes more effort should have been put into said sex scenes

Default 3d shooter unreal engine game.
Graphics and visual are so so and you need top-notch pc to play without upscaling.
Animations, story, gameplay all of it has low level of execution. Boring and uninteresting to play. Nothing new to see here.
Only positive thing are voiced dialogues but they were made without any expression.

It's a not so big game with some oldschool vibing from really small, but not solo, dev team. Yup, separately all elements from game work not so good, - sex scenes it's cutscenes without interaction (but some of them kinda very hot, even still vanilla), tps element mediocre at best, survival element is too ez (after enabling "hard mode" kinda work), face animation may be better (but body animation is hot). A lot of "but"... But together game working fine and I really enjoy playing it! Like bricks in a wall elements combines together in fun, and working, way. It's something around 6\10, - good complited game with working story, somehow working mechanics, working lvl design with just a little bit of backtracking, drama in story and segs stuff. There is also some sci - fi elements, devs try to do even this. Again, good enuf together. First of all it's a working game with gameplay, not an ez mood fix for 10 min, and it's important. Complited and available. By myself, after trying here, I deside to support dev team via Steam, and game worth my time, as a quick, fun side game project. Money spend well I must say.

I'm surprised that I've actually enjoined PLAYING the game, and not just using it for a quick "fix".
There is junkiness ofcourse, but overall gameplay is good. Something that 99% of porn "games" can't claim.
Price is good, so just had to buy it.

Some stupid as fuck reviews. Game is great enough that I bought it. It is a fully complete game by just a dev and not no whole fucking crew so FFS be reasonable. The game is great and plays out amazing for what it is. Completed 3D games are a rarity and some of the painfully stupid comments and expectations show why few try... SMH. I've gone to the discord and chatted with the dev. Dev is active and listens and took suggestions seriously from when I first gave em in the demofest a year ago about which was the best fleshed out demo at the time.

The most notable and extreme con that I've said in the discord and in steam review is how fucking god damn stupid a single save is. Single saves are flat out unacceptable in ANY game without exception. Corruption or bugs or missed stuff happens. Single saves are once again never ever a acceptable thing. Game never tells you that you can't return and thusly miss a few encounters? dunno how many Haven't finished yet but was upset that I could have potentially ended up not rescuing that girl at start if I didn't so happen to speak with her and also not even finish escorting either. The graphics settings apparently do stick but appears not to cause of some bug with the UI on unreals part. The sneak level is painfully tedious as you can't just stop partway through case the dumb one save and the checkpoint is the start of level

The game is cool but pretty dang easy aside from that one enemy type that eats a disproportionate amount of shots compared to everyone else. If you can land a headshot then all enemies aside from one go down in one HS. Game is a much better more fleshed out Deep Space 7 which is a game that grossly has no sex. Still DS7 was pretty good for the like 4 or 5 bucks I got it for.

Humorously you can turn the flashlight on and off at ANY time

    souldead341

Well, this feels more like a 1.4 star, but that's not an option for me. This is mostly due to the many issues with the gameplay.

This is a survival horror 3rd person shooter, with some melee as well. Pretty standard story, OP wakes up in wrecked research center (a space station in this case) that's been overrun by monsters and needs to escape.

I only played the first 1.5 to 2 areas (I'm not sure exactly where the 2nd area "officially" ends).

The graphics are good, but not optimized, so they use a lot of resources. The models are good, the animations are good, and the outfit designs are good. I do like the cyberpunk ascetic for a survival horror game.

The gameplay really lets this down. The movement is pretty janky feeling, with the MC having full turning animations but they are fairly slow and have weird issues when near objects. The inverse kinematics (the way a 3D model's feet and legs interact with the ground) seem wonky, which leads to odd animations going on when on slopes or moving over low objects.

There's a lot of issues with bugs getting the keycards to advance through areas. In the two areas there's one specific corpse that holds a keycard. You might not get the prompt if you changed the interact button from the default or used the P key (which switches the movement animations in some way, I think with and without active inverse kinematics, but I'm not sure). Even then, it's odd to try and get to the right spot.

The transition from the first area to the second triggers if you go into a specific room, so if you didn't finish exploring you might miss things (not sure if I did, since I didn't want to redo the zone).

The combat is also pretty bad. There's an option for stealth kills, but the few times I tried it on enemies in the second area their animation loops were too fast to get the stealth kill off and the cover wasn't there to sneak closer. The melee combat is just shit, with you randomly launching attacks past the enemies and I honestly don't think I landed a single hit when I tried it. The pistol is fine, though enemies move a bit fast and ammo is really scarce, so if you don't have really good twitch reflexes, you're probably going to waste a lot of shots.
  20. 2.00 star(s)

    Jackman9061

Let,s start with the pros. The game has nice graphics, there's plenty of clothes to wear and the atmosphere and environment is good. Now for the cons, and holy shit is there a lotta cons. Enemies die too easily, you'll have plenty of extra ammo. Enemies don't deal much damage and since they die easily the only times I've been injured is because of the enemies overwheming me. AI is basic and borderline stupid, even when having to be stealthy for when the Alpha Wolf shows up, don't bother being stealthy, just outrun him and dodge roll if he gets in your way. The grammar for the notes, subtitles, etc. is terrible, spelling mistakes, words that're missing in sentences to the point that the sentence makes no sense, lowercase i being used instead of an uppercase one, and for some odd reason a lack of using contraction words, They is constantly used instead of They're, in fact the writing has such bad grammar that maybe they misspelt werewolf as werewulf.

They decided to use the Voice Actress VoiceLikeCandy to voice the character you play as, and I just don't like her voice and don't find it sexy at all and her and the other VAs voice acting is crap. There's a lack of instructions regarding where to go and what to do, so I just end up wandering around looking for what to do and getting frustrated. The sex scenes are lackluster, and most of them are anal ones, and I'm not the biggest fan of anal, that and there's no "proceed" key so you hafta watch the whole terrible sex scenes unless a skip button shows up. There's a lack of being able to change areola size or colour which sucks.

Finally the greatest con of all. This shit game is $39 on Steam (at least where I live). It seems that the Unity slop games have been going away, but since Unreal is becoming more and more accessible to use these days, we now hafta worry about Unreal slop games these days. I did not complete this game, I got pretty far, but the lack of directions and janky gameplay just led to me giving up on this game.

I cannot in good conscience recommend this game, it's a janky mess and shouldn't have been made in the first place.
