I have 2 folders: TABA Card Viewer and Viewer RPGX. With TABA Viewer it's very simple, just run the file TABA Viewer.html and you're done, I can watch the H scene, but with Viewer RPGX I don't know what to do. to see scene H, please help me



This is the RPGX Viewer folder, but I don't know where to view the H scene

Extract RPGX 5th.zip.001 with Winrar. You should get a folder named just RPGX 5th.zip. Go into the folder and click on index.html (you can open with Microsoft Edge, but I prefer Firefox). Feel free to ask if you want to know how to apply the more recent patches and the English patch.

The system says the file is duplicated, should I continue, or should I unzip it into a separate folder?

I suggest making a backup file first (just to be safe) but yes, select Yes to All. You did right click RPGX 5th.zip.001, select Winrar and then select Extract to "RPGX 5th.zip\" correct?

BTW if you frequent "download" sites like F95 it might be worth learning the basics of using WinRAR. These sites usually have a lot of compressed files to help with download speeds. It worth learning how to extract files.

I did it, but I have a few questions to ask:
1. I heard the game has 128 scenes but currently there are only 120
2. There are photos that when viewed have a black screen or a message appears as shown

I have fixed the videos that cannot be viewed, just take the files from TABA viewer and put them in the folder containing the html files of RPGX Viewer and they will work.
But I still only have 120 H scenes, while I heard on reddit there are a total of 128 scenes, Also on 4chan there is a "Viewer Big Patch" section, please help me install it

i got it partially working but there's no thumbnails in the viewer

Before we proceed, I should probably explain a few things to you give you a bit of context as well as help you understand how to keep the viewer updated in the future.

As you are probably aware, RPGX is a live service gacha game meaning its constantly being updated with new content. What this means for the Viewer is that is also needs to be updated every so often to keep up with the game. Unlike TABA which has ended, RPGX is still currently ongoing which means there is currently no complete version of the RPGX Viewer.

Basically RPGX 5th.zip only has content up to a certain date. The 2.62 GB folder named H Scene Patches contains content update patches which need to be manually applied to the Viewer. These patches usually come out around the 16th and the 30th of each month. This is why your Viewer currently only has 120 out of 128 scenes.

As for how to apply to the patches just so you don't miss out on anything start at the earliest patch RPGX H Scene Patch 2023-09-30.7z and extract the contents into a new folder. The contents should contain server.py, index.html, thumbnails, scenes and data. Copy and paste all of those into your RPGX 5th.zip folder and select Yes to All if it asks you to replace files. Do this for every patch from RPGX H Scene Patch 2023-09-30.7z to the most recent one which is RPGX H Scene Patch 2024-10-16.7z. Yes, it's pain I know, you'll have to do this around 30 times.

It goes without saying but create a backup folder for the stuff you have that does work if you're afraid of messing up.

I created a folder named "Views Directory" inside the folder containing the files "server.py, index.html, thumbnails, scenes and data". in the folder "Views Directory" contains all the extracted files of H Scene Patches and Story Patches, but I still only have 120 H scenes

That won't work. You literally have to replace the files (server.py, index.html, thumbnails, scenes and data) otherwise the Viewer won't be able to read them. Take the Views Directory folder out of the RPGX 5th.zip folder and then copy and paste the contents from the top, starting with RPGX H Scene Patch 2023-09-30.7z folder into RPGX 5th.zip folder.

Great, I did it! So from now on, every time it’s the 16th or 30th of the month, I just need to download the latest rar file from the H Scene Patches folder on Mega from 4chan and do the same thing to update to the latest H scenes, right, thank you

I see that the date on the English patch file does not match the latest update date of scene H. Could this English translation be incomplete?

To give you some context, the English patch was created by taking/using the official translation/localization of RPGX. The English version of RPGX was shut down in August of this year due to not generating enough income for Lilith. What this means is the English patch only contains the scenes which were translated up to August 2024. The remainder of the scenes are slowly being worked on by a fan translator called

who pretty much became the de facto designated translator due to his work translating other Black Lilith's games

Unfortunately, since Rattan Man Translations is only a single person who is also working on other translating other stuff as well as him never promising to translate every RPGX scene (only the scenes which interest him, are adjacent to his other work or get enough fan demand), what this means is that the English patch will likely never be fully completed (unlike TABA, since that game was almost fully officially localized before it got shut down).

Currently there are only 78 out of the 130 scenes which are translated.
