Hi,

I'm a traditional 2D artist with limited animation experience and looking at some animations in various games, I wonder if they are made in 2D or in 3D ... I'm not sure, if attaching pictures/animations here will violate some rights, so I just hope, that some of you know these games below ... and have an idea how the animations are done:

- ... while I think, there must be some models for the combat, most of the artwork looks 2D to me ... y/n?
- ... that looks clearly 2D to me ... but still I wonder, how the animations are done ...

Any tips and insights about this artstyles are greatly apprecieted!

Lust goddess is using AI art edited in photoshop, might be already animated, or they do the same thing like in horny villa, which is Live2D

Many thanks for the reply! ... that you can do that already with AI is actualy impressive ... and somewhat concerning (from the view of an old-school illustration artist :(

However, I would love to know more details of that kind of workflow ... I think, that's no vanilla AI, like Midjourney or such ... do you know more about that?

Live 2D art looks good, too ... I think, Character Animator from Realillusion can do similar things ... (I actually bought it months ago, but didn't have time to look into it deeply ...)

Love Goddess looks like average AI art edited by human in photoshop, or, they somehow learned to draw in the same lifeless style of AI.
I am using SDXL, and I can achieve similar results (- the photoshop edition)

A lot of VTubers use live 2D, so it's easy to see its capabilities, and there's a ton of info out there about how to use it.

yes, the characters of Lust Goddess are somewhat generic, but tastes differ ... imho the overall look is quite polished ...

I tried to use AI for some of my own jobs (in advertising), but I have given up on that, as it seems impossible to nail a detailed style/look given from a briefing right on point ...

I tried SDXL and DALL-E ... SDXL is a bit heavy on my PC and DALL-E was totally useless ... I'm still quicker with Photoshop/Procreate ...
