Question about Daz3d, how to get parts of body to be "wet."

So to be short, asking how someone would add a wet layer to or on any part, not the actual body rather an add on, such as a vagina or penis and not have it be obstructed by that parts shell.

Using the golden palace or any vaginal/penis add-on for Genesis (9 or 8) makes adding a body wet overlay not exactly function, it creates a gray area over the part, and removing the conflict causes that part to not be covered in the intended wetness, making the layer go slightly higher over the other shells also doesn't help with keeping a consistent sheen.

How would you do it? If you're using Daz and all.

The wetness of the skin, that's the shine. I should have shown the doctor's hand and the guy's dick with lube applied.

There are three ways to get gloss in DAZ: Glossy, Dual Lobe, and Top Coat. I look at which method I don't use for dry skin and apply other. Then I take that glossy to zero again.

If I need the glossy to be non-uniform, I can do 2 renders with dry and wet skin and do the overlap in Photoshop.

The water droplets I draw a map for wet skin, and Bump. For example in the bottom picture. These maps are available for DAZ in the public domain, I see on DevianArt. And there are assets in the store.

you take the specular map for that part, take it to photoshop, and make anything you want to look wet more white.

or, you do the opposite and paint the non-wet area more dark. like this:

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

so you just take the original specularity map, paint black or dark grey what you don't want to shine, and use that.
