Question about doing commisions

How easy is it for good artist to do a commision of a real person?
I'm assuming they use established models but what if I wanted something original done?

Creating a new model is a different skill set. They'd need photos from different angles, preferably nudes. If not, probably in underwear or something. Then they have to create the model in Hexagon or Blender or Maya or whatever, then set morph targets, rigging, etc. It's not easy.
Adapting an existing DAZ model might be an easier go...

My main priority would be the face to be as accurate as possible, but from what you've said its still going to push the price up some, you wouldnt know anyone that does commisions of that nature would you?
