i realize there are several posts with this title but i don't know if it's forbidden to revive old posts. so, here we are.

-if one of the side characters blackmails the mc and it's not sexual, does the game get a blackmail tag? or it could be something sexual. or should the mc blackmail others?

-does it need a certain number of events to give any tag, for example: In a game with 100 animations, only one animation belongs to a futa character and it only appears there throughout the game. Will the game get the futa tag or does it have to appear at least 2-3 times?

-If female characters that the mc will never have sex with have sex scenes with other men, does that count as ntr?

-If a woman cheats on her husband with the mc, does this require a cheating tag or does the mc have to be cheated on?

-do all options remove the game from the kinetic novel category? for example in a 10 hour game there is only one question: are you ok? a- yes b- no. does such a simple and unimportant single option remove the game from the category of kinetic novel?

I know that the voyeurism tag should be added according to this example scene, but should the lesbian tag also be added? Those two women have no connection to any character in the game and they will never appear again.

the definitive answer is always the f95 tag definition, which you can find on "site news, rules and announcements" forum. ie the top one.

answers:

most if not all fetishes don't revolve around intercourse, that's kinda the point why the word exists. so yeah, blackmail is blackmail, and it gives some people a boner regardless if there's explicitly sexual content. also not all games here have sex (which has it's own tag).

one time is enough to justify a tag.

not having sex with mc that kinda describes most ntr games. but that's not what gives the tag, the tag comes from YOUR girl being stolen in a way that induces JEALOUSY. so no jealousy no ntr. also mc must have some kinda relationship/commitment with her. (which doesn't mean she can't be married, but she has to somehow commit to mc as well.)

cheating is tag doesn't specify to whom it's happening. if it happens to mc it's generally tagged ntr, I believe. but I guess if there's no jealousy then it would default to cheating in the absence of ntr?

KN I think depends on if the choice forks the story or not, so just having one meaningless choice probably isn't enough? but if there's a bunch of them there's usually a VN tag (even if the game railroads you despite having choices).

Site uses binary system. If it exists even once, it gets the tag.

There is nuance. What does it mean that a female character will never have sex with the MC? Because there can be NTR scenarios without the MC having any prospect of sex with the female.

But most likely, it wouldn't be NTR unless you are deliberately writing that scene and her relationship with that other dude as something detrimental to her bond with the MC. For example, a close female childhood friend starts getting corrupted by some playboy chad who bullies the MC. She begins to turn into some gyaru bitch that thinks MC is a loser. This kind of set up is intentionally designed around NTR themes, so it could be tagged even though the MC doesn't view her sexually.

Some random non-LI side girl has sex with her boyfriend? Nah.

If there is cheating of any kind, it gets the cheating tag. Other tags can be added to elaborate on the specifics.

If there is no branching, even with various choices made throughout the game, it will be a kinetic novel. But you don't necessarily have to tag it with KN just because there are no branching paths early on in the game. If you plan on making routes at some point, just don't tag it with KN.

for example mc goes to a school and there is an insignificant woman he meets 1 maybe 2 times throughout the game and only greets her. i wondered if this woman's sex with another man requires an ntr tag but i guess not. then i remembered that being a dik also has a couple of scenes like this and there is no ntr tag.

How can I determine which tags that are not yet in the game will appear in the game post and which will appear in the planned tags section?

for example: let's say I'm planning a corruption story. as a side story but not the main event. i interact with the girl i'm planning corruption path with in update 0.1 but my evil plans will start maybe in update 0.3. should i add corruption tag right at the beginning of the game or should i add it in the planned tags section?

Based on tagging rule 2, it there's no corruption content until 0.3, then that's when you put the tag in. Tags are only for what is currently in-game, regardless of every other factor. If there's no corruption actually happening yet, it wouldn't get the tag.

Yes, if a game does not currently have actual multiple endings, the tag is inappropriate and should be reported. Because mods can't play every game uploaded here, they kind of rely on reports like those.

If MC only peeks at family members, would this be considered incest in the eyes of Patreon? And would it require the incest tag on F95? Would it be an issue if they only watched? Or if they masturbated? I'd appreciate answers for both of these separate possibilities.

Did you bother to look through the spreadsheet of new, planned tags in the post I linked for you?

Also, if you have questions about implementation - that thread would be the one to ask. Though, know that it is right now an echo-chamber and confinement thread - while mods/staff are monitoring, they really aren't answering questions at this time... best to ask whenever the new tagging system is implemented---- it's been 18 months since that thread was created and more than 3-4 years the new site code has been in development.
