VN Ren'Py Question regarding The Sims

Hi there. I'm currently working on a tiny little project for fun. Just to get acquainted with game dev and for fun. I'm going to use Koikatsu characters for my game however from what i can see it's very difficult to make custom environments to put these characters in. I have an idea to use screenshots from the sims + post processing and then to take poses from Koikatsu to make my CGs.

Is this allowed? I see many people on patreon making and selling nsfw sims 4 content however i'm unsure if my case will be different. Thank you in advance!

You aren't using the assets in an actual game, just a visual novel. You'll be fine.

EA just doesn't like people putting mods behind paywalls.
