I would make a game with the same combat system of pokemon. As a player, would you like a level system or it would be just a Boring farming system ?

Depends how well it's made. If it's almost exactly like pokemon, I definitely wouldn't mind the grind. But if it's badly made and not fun, I'd hate it.

i'm fine as long as the grind(leveling up) is rewarding and there are other fun stuffs in between to keep us distracted

Gameplay like that can be great but you need to make it functional and smooth.

People love pokemon games and RPG's in general even if they are grindy as long as the gameplay is fun.
