2D art for me. As long as it's 2D and not RPGM game, I'm down.

Well, technically it can be RPGM game, as long as I only have to use the mouse to play *wink wink*.

I voted other because all of these can be my preference but it comes down to work in question. it is not that I don't like sandbox and other type it is just a fact that more gameplay elements you try to add that much more difficult it is to make, so something has to give. There is a reason we don't have many games like that.

I personally had most fun with VN/Kinetic novels because it is focused on story/characters and visuals. and more you can get out of these better the experience.

I really enjoy 2D renders or drawn games, sandbox managers, and character managers. I also very much enjoy RPGMaker games, depending on the quality and content, of course.

I absolutely hate real-time games or games that require rapid reactions. If I'm trying to masturbate, I don't want a time crunch. I also cannot stand VN/Kinetic Novels, because I have to have some sort of input or choice in the game, otherwise I get immediately bored.

I prefer linear VNs/3D with choices, I have very little interest in gameplay like go look for stuff everywhere. :)
I guess that falls under 'Other' so that's my vote.

I don't enjoy Summertime Saga or Being a DIK, but I do like 2D and 3D VNs. Sometimes a Sandbox can be alright, but it's usually too annoying and grindy. Also, technically Summertime Saga is kind of a Sandbox, so your definitions are kind of sucky.

Once you go past Sandbox into more complex shit like a strategy game or a platformer or whatever, I'm out. I play these games for story and porn, not gameplay.

I'm not into sandbox or point n click games. This type of gameplay just ends up annoying me after a while and I inevitably drop those kinds of games fairly quickly. 2D or 3D doesn't really matter to me as long as it's done well, though I prefer the anime artstyle more.

I'm personally in it for the story. Porn can be found online in any number of places and in any number of flavors. I don't need a game just for the porn factor. What I want from a game is to have the storytelling create attachments to the characters so that my cold dead heart feels something for that hot redhead in the cover art beyond just "Nice bewbs."

Sandbox games are like crack to me. I don't want to like them but I just keep going.

I also have a soft spot for real-time 2D games, like sidescrollers and action RPGs.
