Ren'Py Quick Question on Custom Maps

I have a simple question regarding custom maps/mods for Koikatsu that are included in BetterRepack.
Is it ok to use them for your own games or do I have to ask each mod maker for consent or credit them or are they assumed for free use by being included in Repacks?
Are there legal or moral conflicts?

All you are doing is rendering pictures.
If you are asking too many questions you shouldn't be using Illusion Games in the first place.
Because spoilers, some of the mods aren't all that legit either and are rips from other games.
No game made with Illusion Engines could stand scrutiny by being sold on Steam.
Patreon is basically a Backdoor by applying levels of indirection.
