has there ever been instances were your female character can be raped as a game over?

i can only remember playing 1 game, where your character is raped and shown a pregnant a few months later. the rape is of course of screen, but the fact she is mind broken and "pregnant", you know the rape happened.

i'm referring to haunting grounds on the PS2.

so, was there ever a case where it was implied that your character is going to be raped or be a sex slave / concubine as a bad end?

This is extremely rare, at least when it comes to games available in the West. It's the absolute taboo, no developer dares to break. There was one implied rape scene in the Tomb Raider reboot. But after a huge controversy the developers cut that scene, before the game came out. There was one scene in Phantasmagoria (1995) where the protagonist got raped by her demon possessed husband, though this was not a game over scene. In Japan there are games like RapeLay, though I can't think of a game where the protagonist is the victim.

Yeah i'm sorry I totally missed that "real game" thing. My bad. Hmmm... Well doesn't GTA have multiple weird scene like that or is that just beating up the poor hookers and taking the money back. I can't remember. I can't think of anything where that is an end but have to agree with it being too "out there" for western games. That's big in the East though.

The closest i have come to a rape scene in a main stream game is the Tomb Raider 2013 reboot. However Lara being one tough Lady the attempt costs him his life.So while implied it doesn't happen

In the first version the game, if the player failed, the scene ended with implied rape and game over. This version didn't make it to the release. In the release version the scene just ends in the death and game over, if the player fails. If the player succeeds Lara kills the attacker in both versions.

You can kill any NPC in GTA including prostitutes after using their services. Some players do, to get their money back. There are mods in which rape is possible. You cannot rape anybody in an unmodified version of the game however.

Aside from the huge taboo, another reason why heroines of regular games are unlikely to get raped is their high power level that is way higher than that of a typical sex offender. Anyone trying to rape Bayonetta, Kerrigan, Lightning or a female MMO protagonist wont live long enough to even regret the attempt. To a typical game heroine a sex offender is no greater threat than a blind, lame, naked level 1 goblin.

You are indeed correct but it is implied before Lara puts his lights out or game over

do you mean in a version that players bought or do you mean the implied rape was patched out later on?

This is the release version with all possible outcomes. So while his intention is quite clear, the outcome is always death for one or the other but not actual rape.
There is also an attempted rape scene in Call of Duty: WWII, though the victim is an NPC.
Phantasmagoria is a different matter however. I don't think any developer would go that far now. The scene in question starts at about 10:00.

I think the intention was clear, but developers of porn games may find the term "real games" a bit offensive in this context.
You could refer to them as Main Stream Games, or exactly what they are in the original question, Console Games, since a PS2 is a Console System... Because, technically saying a real game implies a game found in reality... So any game that actually exists, could be called a real game... Now, a game referred to in a real game that does not in fact exist, that would be a fake game or unreal game... If we wanted to get all technical... ;-)

Main Stream would confusing for some people again. While Call of Duty and Tomb Raider are certainly main stream games, I wouldn't call Haunting Grounds or Phantasmagoria main stream. There are a variety of expressions, but I think the most accurate would be still be non-porn games.
