VN - Ren'Py - Re Even [v0.2.8] [ReEven Studio]

Not sure why this game is rated so highly with the content currently in the game.

The setup of the story is about the mc getting framed and put in jail for 10 years a a child for the murder of his father,and want his revenge, once out of jail, he's start living with his aunt and cousin and playing some game tied to the guys who framed him for the murder of his father.

It isnt a realy belieavable start for me with the kid in jail, but you would at least think that the story would be on a more serious tone and the mc would be more tough with that kind of setup, but he just act like your usual immature pervert you can see in most game of that type (and so far all choice are just about that, peeking on a girl in the shower, under her skirt, looking at her cleavage or not etc).


When it come to the girl well, there is his family (aunt,cousins) but not much developement yet with them.

There is some action but it feel realy rushed, like he meet a family friend for an haircut, he stare at her boobs and she ask him to strip so she can gave him an handjob just like that...
So it doesnt look like the buildup between character will be a priority either...
even if it got changed so that he got his handjob at their second meeting after he helped her with some box and peeked under her skirt instead.

Not sure in what it's any better since this time the dev is even trolling us with a false choice to avoid it..., and another unavoidable one were the mc got raped by a slime monster just after beating a few slime with his fist ...
the one with the slime serve the story i suppose but sex scene with random easy girl definitly should be at least avoidable.

Graphics arent particulary good either (not horrible per see,but below average for 2025), it could do it for a game more focused on the story but here it's clearly more focused on the porn and comedy aspect of the game with some weird sound and meme put here and there.


We'll see if it improve in the future since the game barely started, but currently it's impossible to rate this more than two stars .

The pacing is an atrocity. MC gets out of prison and his aunt jokes about him looking at her tits? And his best friend's aunt offers him a HJ immediately? Writing is also off with some weird word choice. Graphics are a bit dated but that would be fine if the story were more the focus.

Game has potential good story so far , good story line eager for the next update hope you guys can pull off awesome future updates,
Just needs minor polish (a few typo fixes, smoother transitions). Huge potential this could be a classic! Keep going!

Excellent start!

The dialogue is engaging and interesting . The characters are endearing and beautiful. Dev is doing a good job with the world building and lore. There isn't much there at the moment, but it is still worth trying.

Good luck Dev. This project seems very promising and I hope you stick to it!

A little rough around the edges. Could use a good proofreader. Lots of phrases with no breaks in the dialogue where there should be. Some grammar, spelling and punctuation mistakes. Could also use a little foreshadowing or at least exposition on the new world our MC gets thrown into after returning home. It was pretty out of nowhere AND unceremonious for being such an important part of the narrative.

All that being said, I really like it. Premise is familiar which makes it cozy. A nice mix of multiple popular tropes. Ladies are cute. Everything I mentioned above isn't hard to improve on or even fix retroactively so I remain optimistic.

Big improvement since the - demo dev’s really leveling up

Honestly, it’s kinda sad seeing someone drop a 1-star on a new game just from the old demo. That’s exactly how good projects end up dying early. The new release v0.2.5 shows how much the dev has improved you can clearly tell they’re trying and doing a solid job.

The story’s a bit hard to digest at first, but I actually see the vision now. It’s got that mix of mystery and isekai-style fantasy. The reworked prologue makes the setup make a lot more sense.

The dev listens to feedback and keeps improving with updates. It’s miles ahead of the demo version, I’m excited to see where it goes next.

Story: 4.0 ( Good writing, plot's weaving together nice. )

Art & Animations: 5 ( really smooth and well timed fits the tone perfectly. )

Sound: 5/5 ( music fits the mood perfectly. )

Gameplay: 4/5 ( smooth, not too click-heavy anymore. )

For a solo dev this project has huge potential. You can tell they actually care.

Demo reveiw
1. The prologue feels rushed and not much is there. Father gets stabbed by an unknown guy, police show up, and you (a kid) get framed by a corrupt high official.
2. MC meets the maid and family, but the two youngest girls call him brother, but I thought he went to his aunts?
3. he goes to meet his female childhood best friend, and they act like nothing happened or was missed.
4. Of course, another MC with a 13-inch dick and gets jerked off by his friend's aunt?
Unnecessary clicks mark the end of the 4-5 minute read demo.

Story: Not much story here, another fantasy game, with little story. MC's dad gets involved in something big and makes MC swallow a pearl of some kind when he's a kid. MC agrees with no objection.

I guess okay for a new developer, but overall it's not worth the download.
Dev is learning about animations, even though it's not the best; learn as you go.
