Kinkshaming is not allowed
  • Do not complain about tags in threads or engage in discussion about the tags themselves. It is fine to talk about how a given fetish is implemented in the game, but whining about something clearly visible in the tag list is not

----

Does this apply to people who constantly complain in threads about AI CG? I'm just a little tired of seeing so many complaints when the tag is right there? The reason I ask is that it specifically says "how a given fetish is implemented" but also says "whining about something clearly visible in the tag list is not".

Might be a loophole since AI CG isn't a kink, it's an art style/method. Sure there are preferences, but that's still not a kink. And AI as a whole is debated everywhere. And in every form as well. It'll be quite a while for it to die down and people just get comfortable with their preferences.

why shouldn't it apply to ai cg? if people don't like a tag, that's their problem. the game has the tag. find another game or be quiet.

report the people doing this and give the mods more to do. up to you. mods might not always care to clean up all the common shit comments even when it's being reported. up to them.

Think it depends on the complaint. If you're complaining about the quality of the AI CG, then that's probably allowed. It's no different than commenting on the quality of a DAZ render.

But if you're bitching just about AI CG being used, when it's clearly labelled in the tags, then that wouldn't be okay.

If it wasn't AI at the start.

I would be peeved if a game pivoted from pixel art to Daz mid-course, so this is similar. Games that are in this and that style from the start are another matter.

I agree with this reading.

I guess that the rule was added due to the NTR/harem war, since it's a late addition (apparently there in Feb 2022), hence it's name. But its wording is more generic:
"Do not complain about tags in threads or engage in discussion about the tags themselves. It is fine to talk about how a given fetish is implemented in the game, but whining about something clearly visible in the tag list is not"
And it's precisely what is happening here, with people whining about the fact that it's AI CGs, what is clearly visible in the tag list. Even more visible that it's one of the first tag, if not the first, that will appear.

So, from my point of view, it's more the name of the rule that is an issue, than the rule itself.

Ryahn ?
By the way, the "AI Cg" tag is missing in the include and exclude lists for the "latest updates" feature.

Edit: I'm an idiot...

Vivaldi. And you're right, it works as you show, on Firefox. Doesn't bother me, tbh, I always type them, so I didn't even know there was some inconsistency up until this moment.

You say that as if the very same person won't also mention his hate of NTR in the same thread. :KEK:

I assumed this was how it was supposed to be used, but that was the basis of my ask for clarification, since I don't want to report threads were there are countless complaints about it just being AI and not about the actual quality of the AI. The other concern I have is that people will quickly switch when they realise they can get moderated for it and just complain about the quality when what they really mean is to complain about just the AI usage itself.

And to be completely honest, I don't particularly care about AI CG itself one way or the other particularly, a lot of the time it's done poorly and doesn't interest me but I'm just tired of reading through threads about something and it being full of complaints and no actual value.

This was a concern, since I don't want to just spam reports of complaints in threads if a) the moderators aren't going to do anything about it (because it's not breaking the rules, I'm not suggesting they're just lazy, for clarity), and b) it's probably annoying to have to deal with deleting countless pointless posts in threads.

If you feel the posts are breaking the rules it's best to report them but you don't need to worry about having to spam reports.
At the top right of each post is a icon you can hover your mouse over and it will give you a link to that post you can then add those links to the report instead of reporting each post.
