So I've been working on a still secret project involving HTML and Real Porn,
The thing that's been going through my mind recently while I've been working on it is this:
"How do we decrease the narrative dissonance between the things happening on the "screen" i.e. the gifs and webms and the stuff being written"
As in, we've all played html porn games where the stuff that happens in the text doesnt really match whats happening on screen, like a character changing hair color, the scene happening in a place that has nothing to do with the one from the last webm/gif
I've been thinking about ways of fixing stuff like that, and there are some things that work, like assigning a model to a character (This is usually the solutions most games go for) like assigning that Sophie Dee is the boss in The Company, and always using scenes with her to "maintain character"
But I feel like thats a bit limiting, specially when there are other things that limit the scenes even more, if for example a game is focusing mainly on Gloryholes, like that On Edge game, or some different sex act/situation, I feel like that would dramatically limit the amount of stuff available with one model.
One thing I was trying is to tie a character to a hairstyle/overall look, "The Flat Chested Black Haired Nerd", "The Big Titted Blonde Slut", which have several models that could "fit the part" and at least help a bit with the narrative dissonance.
And here comes a question I dont really know how to answer yet, is it possible to manipulate some video and for example change the hairstyle of a person in it with AI?
I've seen paid apps that claim to do stuff like that, but I dont want to spend the money on them if I can escape it, I have a pretty decent GPU and have generated stuff before, so I'd wager I can probably do same thing here without going even more broke if I have the models/software
But do they work? Is the result acceptable? Can we figure out a way of doing the same thing with other body characteristics like tattoos, piercings, chest size, skin color etc?
Deepfakes are good, but I still think they arent up to snuff yet, completely replacing a face is a very different challenge then changng hair color, or even hair style (Altough I do think that last one would be quite complicated)
I've found a few videos that I really wanted to include, but the characters are all wrong, I'd add them anyway because they are REALLY hot, but I'd prefer them to match the character more, doesnt need to be a perfect match to other videos, but closer would always be better
Of course theres the argument of "its a porn game why do you care", but I strive for quality in everything that I make, and I think stuff like that can help the feel of the entire game.
