Just wondering... am I alone in finding that games using 'real porn' images and animations just don't work for me?

I don't know, there's something about 3D renders that make the games seem a little more thought out and interesting. I guess I've seen enough of the same old 'famous faces' of porn and I fail to find them stimulating in adult games.

I havent seen real porn games made by real porn studios. That may be the reason, why all real-porn games are lacking in content. They have to rely on already existing videos and its impossible to make consistent story or even same MC for all scenes with such assets.

Because "real porn" would imply hiring real actors and violate a lot of laws, probably. Like there is OSHA and other shit to deal with, lmao.

Anyway, you’re not alone. There’s a reason people are here and not watching porn. The game aspect makes the "porn" aspect much better, less of a watching and more interactive experience.

And I do find 2D/3D models nicer than RL anyway.

A lot of people hate seeing real porn in games for the reasons already discussed. I personally prefer it but there are obvious limitations. If the creator wants to depict a scene, he has to go out and find the scene. If there is a lack of consistency in the people displayed in said scenes, players notice. Some people are more off-put by that than others.
To me, the visuals are more to make walls of text more easily digestible so a bit of inconsistency and a lot left to the imagination doesn't really bother me. I suppose it's a question of "how much do you actually care about the visuals?"
