Really similar artwork

I don't know anything about game development, so please excuse my ignorance. I've noticed that a lot of the games I've found here seem to have suspiciously similar 3D assets, with even clothing being common to several games. Are they all using the same modeling software or assets from this community? Just looking for clarification.

Lots of games use both of it, the same software + same assets. Both games in your sig use Honey Select for example.

Thanks! Not complaining, just curious. I do non-game dev work and the gaming industry is pretty opaque to me. Its interesting to learn about new things.
