VN - Ren'Py - Realm Invader [Ep.2 P2] [Invader Gary]

I've played many many games on this site, probably too much games. But this one is the first game I ever played here that made my audibly laugh, though it's not high humor this is something that makes this particular game noteworthy.

Typical power fantasy with isekai'esq story, but it made me laugh so 5/5.

As of Chapter 2, Part 2 this is an impressive Game, im suprised its not more popular.
On the production quality side its one of the greats on this site. Like it has really beautiful renders, animations, character models, scenes. Thats definitely the defining feature of this game.
The Story is alright, it takes inspiration from another really great AVN (just compare the Currency...), but thats alright Realm Invader still finds its unique footing.
Where it shines is in its wholesome romance and its witty comedy. It produces moments of genuine joy and heartwarming romantic moments. The characters are all pretty unique and well displayed. And the connection between MC and LI feels genuine and develops really well over the playtime.
The humor slaps, its honestly a funny game, often producing chuckles and amusing moments.
Whats not so great are the H-Scenes. There`s potential there i believe, for example the Philica Arc, but so far there are 12 H-Scenes of which !none! are penetrative Sex. This game will leave you blue balled and is even self-conscious about this. So far none of the H-Scenes were really satisfying, always a bit awkward and immature or just too random. But i strongly believe this will improve in further updates now that the foundations have been laid. Especially since theres anticipation with the various sexual preferences of the various characters.
So as of yet a fantastic (mostly kinetic) Romantic Comedy, bar the Porn part of the Game.

Goof game. Very nice Animation. I like the characters. Hyped to see where it goes. Highly recommend. The humour is a bit odd at the beginning, but you get used to it. And i enjoyed it even haha.

Story: Interesting story, good groundwork, but to early to tell.

I would love to see more of the mystery site of the game. And more chloe pls. And maybe a femdon character.

Hadn't laugh like that in a long time. Reminded me of Stabby Mike in OIALT. It's worth it, even if you're in just for the humor tbh. Barely started to play but so far, i'm pleased to see somewhat interesting and believeable LIs, and that's already more to please me that most game accomplish. Pretty sure a the dislikes are people that felt targeted by some specific jokes, or called Mickael.

Once you get over the tone of the game and accept that it's meant to be a comedy/ero story and not as serious as many of the other stories out there it's a great story. I like the wit and quick back and forth comedy from the characters, more than a few lines made me laugh out loud.

I like the girls, I like the story, it does get serious at a couple small parts but quickly goes back to the unserious tone. The ero scenes are alright, I'm not a fan of the wobbly camera but that seems to be the style these days. I wish there were more variations in your harem, right now it's all just your human family and one "adopted" member, so hopefully we will see some new characters down the road.

The story so far is a little slower than I'd like, ch2part2 takes place entirely in a single night and excludes a couple characters, one of which is my favorite, but overall is good for actual character progression. If this is the pacing of the game then we're in for a pretty long story.

Cadence is the best girl.

Great game! Deserves more recognition. The animation and creativity in this game is top-notch. Not to mention, the Love Interest in this game are hot!

It's great, it has a lot of great comedic moments. Incredible if you want something lighter. The world follows its rules and characters folows the world. I'm not sure how to describe this exaclty... it is very coherent? In its own logic.

I highly recommend trying.

This shit slaps. I got into this with high expectations and it still managed to shatter them. Let me start by saying that the comedy in this game is peak, it’s a huge part of the game’s overall theme and I’m thankful for that. The dialogues are another highlight for me, they flow smoothly, always witty and engaging, and the memes and facial expressions just make it even better.

The characters are amazing and distinct, and their relationships with the MC differ in meaningful ways while still staying consistent with the rest, which is done beautifully. I’m also really glad the dev retconned the incest, it honestly didn’t make any sense and would’ve made the characters and their relationships much weaker and blander if it stayed. So if you plan to play, forget about that patch or whatever, it really makes things worse.

The animations are superb and might be the best I’ve seen from an HS game. The world feels alive and interesting, and the magic system strikes a perfect balance, not overly grand but not dull either.

All in all, it’s a superb game and one of my favorites henceforth. Can’t wait for future updates.

What really stands out to me about this game is its humor and writing. It’s one of the very few AVNs that actually made me laugh, with dialogue and character interactions that feel so natural—almost like joking around with friends in real life. On the technical side, the game really shines. The visual designs are unique, Episode 2 takes the quality up a notch, and the sound design is incredible. The animations feel polished, with the focus more on building relationships than just throwing in explicit sex scenes. The music and effects make both the comedy and the erotic moments hit harder, and the improved visuals add a lot to the experience. Sure, updates take a while because of the production quality, but the content is long, rich, and absolutely worth the wait. I’d definitely recommend it and I’m really looking forward to enjoying more content from this little gem in the future.

If you came here because of tags like maledom, slave, mind control, and so on... Give up. This is a vanilla game. Some of the scenes even lean more into femdom. Tags are seriously misleading.

The game claims the female characters have fetishes like "being manhandled" and bdsm, but the game doesn't lean into it at all. It gives the main character a literal cat girl slave just for him to go on a guilt trip about slavery being wrong... And proceeds to get his dick sucked by the slave anyway, but it's okay because it's vanilla? I guess slavery isnt so bad if the slave owner feels bad about it lol. Dev can't decide if he wants to follow porn game logic or real life logic, so he does this weird milquetoast compromise.

Later he gets to have a go with a milf, he knows she has a bdsm fetish, she literally starts calling him master and begs for his cock. But MC inner dialogue it's about how she's more experienced and could do whatever she wants with him (???), then proceeds to apologize for slapping her ass. Come on...

I prefer games that know what they're doing and go for it rather than half assing it.

The animations are great and dev clearly puts a lot of effort in them, congratulations to him for that, it's clearly the strongest aspect of this VN. But that's really all I can praise about it.

Even leaving the fetish issue aside, the writing could be a lot better. Dev just throws one attempt of gag or joke after the other constantly and it gets really tiring. You just want the scene to move on but he keeps going and going and going... I can't comment about the overall plot as it's too early to tell, there's very little of it so far. Characters seem ok but nothing that stands out, aside from Vineeta who looks interesting but again too early to tell.

This game could have easily been a hidden gem. The renders are impressive, and the characters are appealing. However, the excessive use of cringey jokes and subpar writing detracts from the overall experience.

This game is just FUN. It's so much fun in fact that with 2 or 3 major shortcomings worth a star each, I still rate it 5/5.

The only real complaint I have is the opening scene. It's almost pure "wtf am I reading" trash, with one decent joke that kept me going. But from that point on it was pure joy to click through this.

People complaining about the relentless, childish humor are correct - and need to remove the sticks from their asses. Sure, the game never stops moving forward, a truly astonishing amount of shit is thrown around. But a lot (most) of it sticks and is just fun. Maybe undercutting a very serious scene with slapstick humor was too much, but I'm going to forgive that one. Mostly because we get a couple of GREAT one liners relieving the tension in serious scenes - "I'm gay" into a confused cat was great, "I'm a man" had great timing.

Lewds are very limited - specifically MC has yet to actually have sex. On the other hand, I like all of the scenes we got so far. And I think I like ALL of the girls, which might be a first for me. Still, the pacing should have been better - you get intros for multiple LIs, than maybe some teasing, but nothing much happens. Then suddenly BLAM! Cadence plot starts. Finally some action, but with a completely new girl. Her scenes are good (blowjobs yay!), but you had to wait for Ch.2 Pt.2 to get anything from the other girls you might be invested in. Those scenes should have probably happened a long time ago.

A random thought before I go, I think this was the first time I got a kick out of a submissive girl. Usually this means they call you "daddy" or whatever, not my thing. But Chloe getting arroused just from being restricted was HOT. It was about her and not some "dom" jackass. More of that please.

Great game, really enjoying it, can't wait for the next episode

In the same tier as Eternum or Ripples etc for me, lot's of polish and although the H scenes are not constant, they are charged

I honestly don't think I have ever played a game in this site with so many animations and them, specially the h scenes, bein so dynamic, realistic and therefore erotic. This is, at least, on par with big, multi dev, projects like Eternum and such.
The story is cool. The comedy and memes is in the beginning a bit too much but then it quickly reduces to the point it honestly gets chuckles from me which not many here do.
On the bad side, I see that this was released in 2022 and we only have 2 episodes.
The dev, and very deseverdly so, has a decent amount of supporters on Patreon which is great to see.

This one is really good ,the comedy was the best part of this and I was smiling while playing this the whole time , really refreshing tbh, first game where non porn element was highlight for me.
Also this doesn't mean the porn wasn't good the renders were really good too although not many scenes right now I have to warn you but the gameplay compensated for that trust me I usually skip all dialogues in games I play but I didn't in this one. Also as dev said no ntr which as a player who sometimes do play ntr games. I appreciate like for real , cause all characters have a personality that so u feel connected to them and hence don't want any of that . Being real I have highest expectations for this game . Fun writing that nicely straddles that Deadpool line of irreverent fourth wall breaking and deadly serious. Really enjoyed the comedic aspect, the "throw it back" line genuinely had me in stitches as did when MC is getting roasted in the fighting game for looking generic and it cuts to him and...well spoiler. My biggest issue with the game is the slavery, When MC comes back from "saving" Candace and every one is saying "oh you did the right thing, surely you'll be a better master" it gave me the ick something awful. This was mostly redeemed later with grace and the balcony scene but still. Last thing, I generally don't play with in game music. I prefer to have my own going but genuinely really enjoyed the soundtrack for this.

Absolute Cinema. First of all and foremost, incredible animation, amazing quality, fabulous dialogue that consists of world shaking comedy that will make you burst out laughing, and much more. The story is great and implements scenes in a well paced manner that contributes to the story being an actual story and not just a regular erotic game. Every character having their own personality also enhances to the humorous atmosphere which can also able you to relate to the character as well as partake in a little giggle here and there seeing how each and every character are their own person which includes scenes of them having their own mentality when it comes to deep situations which doesn't only help the story being interesting but also help you understand them because these deep situations also happen in the real world. This game is memorizing not only does every little thing have detail, you start to cherish every little detail they implement making you yearn for more as well as respect how much dedication the people who worked on this game have. Last but not least the songs are banging.

This game seriously looks awesome although the main character looks pretty generic, I like the concept of this game and have fair amount of comedy until it turn into cringe.

Despite that the quality of renders was really really good every girl looks awesome NGL.

But the major problem comes with their personality and actions I will give 1star because I like the sound effects and visual.

And another star because the quality of renders was on another but every games with high quality render end up with "shti" mc.



Things that I hate in every harem games:

• 1st Just the typical loser MC who will go through character development and turned into a decent human which has been already used by zillions of dev.
• 2nd Girls seems to be pretty annoying although not all of them I like only two but one of them is slave , anyway games with wimpy MC always have annoying bitches not really unusual.
• 3rd sometimes MC says something badass but just at that movement someone have to ruin the movement, and that obviously have to be the annoying bitches of protagonist's.

Might be my 1st time giving 2 star to the game since I came to this site.

This is it. With those 2 things dev wants to glue all other breaking parts of this VN

+ Visuals are really good
+ Animations
+ Different LIs

- too much jokes and they are bad
- writing is bad. It's just to connect images somehow
- you just can't play without walkthrough - you simply have to know the right options, otherwise you will miss a lot of content and those options are completely random
- you have to own a modern PC, you can't play on weak machine in comparison with other VNs - you can't solve puzzle in Part 2 otherwise

This is an INSANELY good VN. The animations are a bit stiff, at least in the beginning, and it has that jarring 'frame to frame' jump that makes it play out more like a movie than a story, but it is still SO GOOD to just read through and enjoy.

Models are unique and interesting, the MC isn't a total douchenozzle and is actually a rather fun trope I haven't seen before: lazy Mr Perfect. Like someone who never had any interest in trying, but is naturally gifted at whatever he DOES try. It's funny to see him pissing all over the other characters and scenes, and doesn't come off corny or obnoxious at all.

I haven't even gotten to any sexy bits yet and I honestly don't think I NEED to, the characters, premise and humor are more-than capable of keeping this afloat. Definitely worth the time.
