I mean, what can I say about the grinding aspect that hasn't been said before? It's abyssmal. It's horrible. It makes you question the existence of a merciful god. The problem with this is that there's some fun concepts hidden in here, they're just buried beneath shit ass game design and programming.
It's crazy how often scenes introducing me to a concept or a place activated long after that thing had already become commonplace and I had figured out on my own what it does.
I don't wanna drag this review out too long, but let's just say:
- Do NOT play this game without the Cheat Code. The tedium will drive you nuts
- There's some interesting ideas for sandboxing
- The random nature of aquiring perks and such is fun, just horribly implemented
- The game is straight up broken in a lot of places
