VN - Ren'Py - Rebirth [Ep.5 Update 13] [LikesBlondes]

Review of Ep. 1 Update 7
Although I'm not a great vampire lover, I admit this game has managed to make the topic captivating.

The characters are particular and well-caracterized ... Each of them has strengths and weaknesses and wants to get to know them better to continue discovering them.

The gradual advancement of relationships seems real and is engaging ... The more you make progress towards the conquest of the girl, the more you know and appreciate her.

Recommended for those who love slow, detailed and captivating stories, where the characters, the story and the development of the plot are more important than sex.

This game is great. If you are looking for a game to coom to quickly, then this probably isn't what you want, as there is no sex in the game yet, although there is a good amount of lewd content. However, as a story based game, this is the best VN I've played on this website. I am very pleasantly surprised.

Captivating story, well made and belivable characters, top quality renders. Got that vampire story climat and some humor too. As of yet no porn at all and 2 hours of reading . Definietly has potential to be great.

Expected yet-another-mediocre-VN but was very surprised, this game is something else! Good writing, likeable characters and engaging plot, combined with nice art and strong VtM vibes. No sexual content at this time, but still worth to play.

I mean honestly this is one of the best.

Good story line, nice character development and fucking vampires!

I wish i could rate this even higher, defiantly gonna fall in love with this once you play it.

Now _this_ is a proper game: superb plot and character development, a fully-realised world with its own rules and logic, and believable relationships.

Don't go in with false expectations, though. This is not good fap material, yet... nor is it even particularly erotic at this point -- but the dev is setting things up very well for a turn in that direction quite soon. There appear to be meaningful choices, as well.

Visually and in terms of the slow-burning, erotic plot development, it is quite similar to the Dev's previous work, _Life with Mary_. In other words, don't expect animations or cutting-edge graphics. But _do_ expect the slow-buring plot to pay off eventually.

One of the Dev's few faults as a storyteller is that the protagonist can seem a bit robotic at times... I've always assumed this was an English/translation issue. There are few grammatical errors, but the dialogue can seem somewhat stilted. Fortunately, these quirks asctually work well in the context of the vampire setting, in a way that was not true with _Life with Mary._

The bottom line is that _Rebirth_ seems to be another step up for the Dev, following his very good first game.

Not planning on saying much.

I would rate it more than 5* if it where possible.

This game is awesome, I have absolutely nothing bad to say. This one sets a new standard.

Just play the game, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I love the beginning remind me my first time I play VtM 20 years before Nice plot , nice image synthesis . More as i going to play more .

Training day : is nice that you meet different character from other clans and you starting to know the basic of this society but i Love to have more options.

Nice VtM terminology like:
boon, major boon (even that the hound ask incorrect , the type is normally only boon for what she offer ) fledgling , hound ,Archon (even that terminology is different than the position we see here... here is act most like a prince)

In general very nice game but with no much of sexual context

Excellent plot and characters ... better than those featuring many "decent" pay-market games ...

Instead of putting sex scenes if realistic motive or cause, here it is only a plot resource, which strengthens the plot, which instead of detracting from these scenes, they are increased because it has a reason for being ... and they end up considering an achievement ...

I gave this 5 stars despite a complete lack of any sexual content besides eye candy because the writing and art is just too good to do anything less. Not fap material, but one of the best games I've played in quite some time. I would have liked a bit more choice in my character's actions, but I understand there are necessary limitations to freedom.

Another game that has me completely sold on the story and the characters. This is a VN where the each update continues the story and leaves you wanting for more. The characters are intriguing enough to also keep you vested in the VN without having to make them fuck you to achieve that. Would recommend giving this a look as well as possibly supporting the patreon.

An "enthralling" story
The renders are top notch, original settings and NPC, a very good atmosphere, everything happens for a reason, great storytelling. Very far from most VN around here, for the best.
Some will say that the pace is slow, that the Dev takes his time to build the characters, and that so far there is very little sexual contend, BUT strangely after each release you'll yearn for more.

The game is still early in development imo

But so far its very nice a vampire game but done rite imo

The women are gud looking and the storyline makes sense and is interesting so far.

The stats building is in its early stages but showing promiss with the different trainers that u can pursue for one of ur 3 stats.

will keep a look out for this game and see what comes next but it is showing some promiss for sure. I recommend everyone to give this a try u wont be disappointed

After playing the first 6 episodes I want to take the opportunity about this awesome VN.

In my eyes this VN earns the 5 stars without any doubt and I would like to tell you why.

For my personal enjoyment I compare VNs here in 4 categories:

1. Art
The art is really beautiful and distinguishes itself from other VNs thanks to new and different places, in- and outdoor. The same goes for the models, there is alot of work done in detail to make sure that the models are different enough from other VNs (something which gives me from time to time a hard time to get into new VNs if there are almost similar looking models used).

2. Story
It is a vampire story, therefore you will find alot of topics typical for this genre, shouldn't be a suprise for anyone. If you like this genre I think you will have fun following it. The narration feels never rushed and it takes its time if needed, but it felt at no point boring or slow for me.

3. Characters
Most of what I said about the story is valid for the characters and their stories. You will come across many different and interesting people and I enjoy the character building especially for the main cast around the MC. Each episode you learn some new infos about a character, but most of them still have their own secrets to discover in future episodes.

4. Decisions
You will face quite some decisions during your playthrough and most of them are relevant in coming parts of the story. There are three different disciplines to teach the MC and they change how you progress in the story and what kind of solutions you will have available as the MC for certain situations.

The hardest part follwing this VN for me is the waiting time between the episodes ;-)

The storytelling in this game is really good. Just finished Ep.1 Update 5 and, as a fan of vampires and engaging stories in general, i quite liked it. the developer obviously knows how to write a compelling narrative, and he made a smart decision by focusing on a small cast of characters so that he can develop each character well and not leave any character feeling like an archetype. the plot is intriguing, with both the short term and long term goals clear. I quite like what is already in the game, am interested in what happens next, and i highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in engaging and enjoyable stories.

PS: It is worth noting that this game does make some major changes to the Vampire lore, particularly if you are coming from a Vampire: The Masquerade background. Those changes are not necessarily bad, and i actually like some of them, but i thought them worth noting. For a few Examples, so far it has been shown that turning into a vampire is a gradual thing that takes days and suffering instead of an instant "Coma then Profit" change, that Thralls actually have free will except when directly ordered by their master (like a character in the game said, Thralls here are more like celebrities superfans), and that Vampires cry normal tears instead of blood tears.

PPS: There hasn't been any sex so far, which one would normally think of as a negative, but the reason here is to develop the characters well and make the sex scene meaningful when it happens, so it is very understandable and reasonable in this case and i actually commend the developer for doing so. still, it is worth mentioning that considering the normal expectations of games on this site.

The story is great, and for someone that knows Vampire the masquerade this is pretty close to the mythos. I came for the girls and stayed for the story. Understanding a little about MC sire i think this will get very hot in the future. I see some saying this is a cliche, i disagree.

The story has not got much in the way of sex yet. I feel that is mainly because you are in the start of the story and due to the story feeling very genuine. No characters that want to hump you because you have had a conversation for 15seconds.

I start to play it waiting for an average adult porn game, but i have to say this game really give me a nice surprise, the history is really good, it's a a good amount of play time an also great characters, I really enjoy it every second that I play it. If you want a good history, some mistery and love vamps sci fi, you will love this game.

I wanted to like this game I really did but as much as there needs to be a new VTM game (which you can tell this is heavily influenced by) I can't like the game it is just way too boring and formulic the scenes of the game have been done ad naseum at least 100 times before including the making fun of popular culture.

The game is becoming a borefest.

-Story is very weak and contrived pretty much what you could find in any trashy vamp romance novel at the 1c bin of a used bookstore
-Characters don't have much depth and pretty much act how you expect them to.
-For a vamp game there is very little sexual content. This update contained 0

I really like this game. The renders are great and it seems to follow a Vampire the Masquerade plot which is awesome. The choices in the game are few and as far as I've seen so far go towards establishing what your lineage and abilities are, but that's fine for an intro. There's no sexual content so far, beyond some nudity, but that's probably the only way to go if you're building a reasonable story instead of a 15 minute fap-fest.

I love this game. I'm a long time fan of Vampire: The Masquerade, and this game really does a good job of capturing its allure. Also, so far it has an interesting story with really likable characters. I like the Nosferatu best, but really everyone is well-written. No real sexual content so far (I'm halfway through into the fifth update), but it doesn't bother me at all. If the story is interesting and fun, then the slow build can actually add a lot of value. Kudos.
