Recolor Doors or Wardrobes?

Hey guys its me again your favorite noob.

So my question today is because google didn't told me what i was looking for is, how do i recolor doors or wardrobes and stuff like that? When i try it in surfaces that doesn't really workout for me is there a tutorial for it? And second question is how do i give a wardrobe or door a wooden design? Like lets say i have a white door but i want to give it a nice wooden design, do i need a shader or something for that? Ty very much for your help already and sorry for all the questions

Try this:
Surfaces > Diffuse Color
For 'wooden design' - Surfaces > Shaders (ofc you need shader )
Don't forget to choose model in scene.
