Recommend me games that can be modified easily, like Newlife

Even though Newlife can only be modified with just text scenes and nothing more, like not even a mechanics adjustment. It's just the first thing that I recalled - it's perfectly modifiable with help of AI, which makes it not so extremely boring as it is without such help.
Any ideas, recommendations of games that can be modified this way? With AI-written files, no reverse-engineering, so I believe it should be something text-based and simple, as Newlife is.

Yeah, but I mean something more automatic. I'm good at drawing and have many ideas to create my own RPGM game, but I don't feel like it at the moment. For now I want to know if I can enhance, adjust for my own liking, some game with simple methods.
