if a game request is rejected does that mean no one wants to upload it, it doesn't match the request rules, or something?

What i saw is a huge number of people requesting games that are not in english (not saying its your case), that is the most important factor in the request rules, so mods are fed up and usually just reject them without telling why anymore.

your thread was a request, there's another thread that's prefixed with update that was left open. probably that was the reason as there's no need for multiple threads.
demo threads are either for games that aren't out yet but have a demo, or in case of there not being any leaked version available online - for reaching more zoners in hope of one of them seeing the thread and going all "i have this game, i'll share it".
