Hey everyone,

We’re the two devs behind Relics of Wayne: Greymoor
Two friends building a world we’ve been imagining for a while, lots of late nights, too much coffee (Note from the other developer: No such things as too much coffee) and endless conversations about atmosphere, pacing, and how realistic it is to have sex with a stranger you just met on your first night in town…

We have been working mostly in the dark till now, so it feels good (and honestly a bit nerve wrecking) to finally share some of it.

So thanks for stopping by!

What We’re Trying to Make
At its core, Greymoor is a mystery puzzle game wrapped in character drama, with adult tension that grows naturally from the story, and is not forced into it. Meaning this game is on the slower pace with regards to adult content.

You play as a character who recently inherited his grandfather's old mansion. While visiting you get drawn into a world you didn’t expect. Was there something more to your grandfather's death?

The village (Greymoor) has a personality of its own, and so do the people you meet.
We’re trying to build something that feels intimate, unsettling and immersive. A kind of story that gets stuck in your head.

Not just a regular game, not just porn.
Somewhere in between.

The Characters You’ll Meet
Alex:
The kind of person that tries to make you feel at home instantly… maybe too instantly. The classic femme fatale.

The game is still evolving, but this should give you a feel for the atmosphere we’re chasing.

These will shift a bit over time as we refine the game, the atmosphere is something we tweak constantly until it clicks.

The mood is important to us, the lighting, the textures, the sounds. All of it should feel like part of Greymoor’s ambience.

Where We’re At Right Now
Currently working on:
  • The manor arrival and first impressions
  • Smoothing out the dialog between you and Mina
  • The ambience in the bar with Riley
  • Intro chapter flow and pacing
A playable demo is coming very soon (we are aiming for this week).

How We Are Using AI
Some assets in this game were created with the help of AI (We are after all just a team of two people trying to create a very big game with tons of graphical assets and animations). However every AI-assisted asset was carefully edited and significantly refined by us before adding to the game. The majority of assets in this game were made by us.

Voice Acting
We currently have 2 scenes which contain voice acting. These voices are real people, not generated by AI.
Our future goals are to have this game fully voice acted with proper speaking animations.
However this is expensive, so properly recording these voices (especially the adult sections) takes longer than we want.

Heya! Sorry for not updating in a while, but my baby decided it's showtime and now I'm a dad (woohoo!).

Regardless, we're working pretty hard at releasing the demo but it seems Steam has some issues with our demo... which we will fix, but we don't wanna delay it, so for now Steam demo release is postponed and we'll just release it somewhere else.

Working on the trailer to market the game a lil bit. So, attached is the storyboard we decided to go with. The trailer is already in advanced stages and I don't want to promise anything but it seems we're releasing the trailer, demo and game post on F95 tomorrow(?). No promises of course, life is very busy.

As a fellow dad, congrats :)

Game looks super promising at first glance I usually don't have time to try new games but I tried yours real quick, up to the point of waking up on the 1st day. Voice acting is always a real treat to see in these games, the point and click aspect is close to my heart as well (Indiana Jones & the Fate of Atlantis was one of the first games my dad let me play on the pc when i was a kid).
Didn't get very far in, but the world and interaction with it seem very impressive!

Game looks super promising at first glance I usually don't have time to try new games but I tried yours real quick, up to the point of waking up on the 1st day. Voice acting is always a real treat to see in these games, the point and click aspect is close to my heart as well (Indiana Jones & the Fate of Atlantis was one of the first games my dad let me play on the pc when i was a kid).
Didn't get very far in, but the world and interaction with it seem very impressive!

Thanks a lot dude! Brand new to parenthood but I can only hope I do a good job and raise a good kid :)

I miss P&C adventure games, we tried taking our shot at creating a modern looking one, hopefully we'll do a good job as time moves on. A ton of bugs, features and story elements still need to be added to the game.

Warning that this might spoil the second day at Greymoor a bit. This is part of how we work on our game/graphics/sex scenes/everything. We usually write out the text to generally describe the flow of what we want to happen, then I start working on a storyboard and see if it flows well or not. This one is after the storyboard phase to see if the angle is good or not, if we like the graphical direction, etc. Lighting and polish are not yet a part of the equation.

Feel free to give any suggestion/tweaks/things you would like to see in a future sex scene! Hoping direction is to your liking!

Hey guys!

Wanted to drop by and show some signs of life. We're still hard at work on the game, never stopping, not even for a second.

Coding side: We're focusing on bug fixes according to the feedback we've gotten, as well as making the demo Steam ready.

Graphics-wise: Drawing each and every mouth shape for each and every character for each and every angle they might stand in, or pose they might be speaking in. It's a lot of work, but we're doing this to implement full voice acting in the game (our current main goal!).


Speaking animations will help us out down the road to develop future chapters faster, so that's a big bonus!

Afterwards, we plan on adding some more character interaction animations, to make the main character more reactive when picking up objects or unlocking doors using a key.


Simultaneously to all of the above, we're working on the new chapter in Greymoor, the second day! Should be a lot more action packed, and hopefully we can do it justice as we did with the demo.
