Hello, it's been a while since I posted here about my upcoming game, Remain Pure, a game about the protagonist coping with being sent to a world similar in some ways to his own, but completely different in others, with the primary kink being futa on trap, but plenty of trap on futa will be included as well. For anyone who read my previous posts and was interested, I'm still working on it and plan to release it when I can, but I want to have at least one scene with each heroine and I'm up to eleven now, even though in my last post I said I would be starting with eight.
Doing that takes a long time, especially since I'm using Koikatsu for everything, because I have to write everything leading up to the scene first, then use charastudio to animate it all and apply effects and such that I can't get by just going into free-H and recording stuff. Custom lighting, custom positions, more than two people at once, etc, and that's just for the porn, I don't even wanna bring up how much time it takes to get the plot where it needs to be so I can focus solely on character interactions and lewd stuff due to Nat's personality and how he views sex. It would be so much easier if I just made him a trap who's easily convinced to do lewd stuff with the girls, but that's not the character I want to write.
Another issue that I'm still trying to solve is how to work the main mechanic that the title itself includes, "Purity", into the system and make it impactful, because I need to give you a reason not to tank it to the floor immediately to get more lewd stuff since, among other things, it's essentially a measure of what the protagonist, Nat, is willing to do sexually. If I had combat in the game, it would be easy, I'd just have lower Purity debuff the player in combat.
Without combat mechanics though, it becomes much harder to give an incentive to keep it high without punishing players who want to get right to the sex, which is something I do myself in some games so I understand the frustration when you just want to get to the sex fast and ignore the story or come back for it later. While this is a story-based game first and foremost, it's also meant to provide content for people like me with very specific wants when it comes to the futa/trap or even futa/male genre in general and don't like how it's almost always about humiliation, feminization, asserting power over the male and degrading them, turning them into a mindless sex slave, etc.
So I just wanted to let anybody who looked at my previous two posts and are wondering, yes, it's still being made, but I've had to keep working on it longer than I thought I would to get it to where I'm comfortable releasing it, because I personally hate when a game with an interesting plot/kinks I like comes out with like an hour of content and expects you to stick around for months waiting for it to actually be worth playing. I'll probably make another post soon about the three new girls and some of the antagonists you'll encounter.
If anybody reading this has an idea how I can make purity impactful without punishing players for lowering it, I'd love to hear your ideas.
