I came to "finish" the game, but the game finished me off.
Put Kirstin to sleep. She was my favorite character in Cap Sirkosky's games, but after playing this gem, my God, how fucking disgusting I feel for the character now. I hope Pinel gets revenge for her sister.

Graphic : 2D hentai style , with some animations and voice, bigger character standing picture.

Voice : Only on scenes where it counts to add more enjoyment

Music : Not many, but there are some that are good to add to the story of the game.

Combat : Pretty simple not much upgrading of weaponry basically just gather what you find in accessories rarely any better weapon loot out there in the game.

Story : great storyline though people needed to be prepared of how the story can head into dark, at least one fetish needed to be include as in amputee , and not to be taken by surprise, but it will become a spoiler.

The bad side the con side:

* -The story is linear it just goes one way and only one ending that is possible there are what if scenes that are available but that is not the end of the story if we finish the game so only 1 ending. which pretty bad, why give us choice and work hard on something if we're just going to be directed to just only 1 ending ?

*- There is no new game + that we can play from the start that we can have a new ending, because so far the story line just have 1 story ending and 1 what if I think that it doesn't count as a true story ending.

*- It's a cliff hanger and have the potential of a sequel or continuity of the game possibly, I really hate cliff hanger, it's pumping us toward the rise of a particularly interesting part of the story.. and it ended abruptly make us wait for the sequel if there are any at all planned in the future,

*- Immortal enemy that you cannot defeat, as it refer to the prior points the game is just set or funneled to have 1 ending so regardless whatever you do the result will lead to the same, I just really hate this.

Very good scenes to be had here, kinda wish there was more diversity as well as length but there's still a plentiful amount. Great game definitely give it a try, although just like me you will probably only enjoy half the scenes where the actual corruption happens.

Oh boy, the story in this game was quite the something!
I loved this game until the 2nd half rolled in, the fact that you'll be fighting an unwinnable fights is infuriating(I managed to kill all the bosses, but they just respawn, fuck that shit!), don't make me waste time by fighting then.
It's my first time seeing this traversal way in an RPGM game, I kinda liked it, not as fast as the normal way, but sure is creative.
FINALLY a non tall with massive tits woman! Meiri is a welcome change of scenery from the usual stuff in Cap's games, she's by FAR my favorite thing in this game..

its very good game. to be honest i play the other game that have pinel in it, but i never really seen her story before. to be honest i didnt expect that im gonna get tear jerking experience instead of jerking on my usual self lol. but still as much as i want to commend how good the story deliver is, its very few option to do lewd and can't do anything after all done and no content or whatsoever. would be nice if only theres other thing after all those thing happen to do some other stuff for 1gb games for just dungeon scene. feels like this is VN game in the mask of RPGM instead how RPGM should actually work. either way the story it self is good.

This is a totally different style of game from most RPG Maker games, including the creator's previous game, War Demon Kirstin, which this is a prequel to. This is a first person dungeon crawler ("blobber") like Etrian Odyssey or Dungeon Travelers. Like in those games it feels like there's not much to do except pick a dungeon from a menu and start crawling through it. I never feel like I'm having a real adventure with this kind of game, which is too bad because Kirstin offered a strong sense of adventure, but it's a matter of taste.

There are a lot of sex scenes, some in your home village but mostly in the dungeons, featuring the three main characters: Pinel (the big boobed blonde you see on the game's title screen), her little sister Meiri and Kirstin, the protagonist of the game I mentioned above. My big problem with this game is that it has a lot of dark content which you can't avoid because the game is very linear. If you don't like things like drug addiction and sex slavery involving a child, you really won't like the last half of the game. I don't care that it's in the game, to each their own, but in a game where the sex scenes are optional and it's possible to do a "pure" run you can avoid anything you don't like. This is not that kind of game, its goal is to tell a linear story with you having fights and an illusion of choice along the way. The story was not bad on its own merits although it is depressing.

Since Kirstin was a game with lots of freedom to enjoy the game in your own way some people might be disappointed with how railroaded this game is, it's still worth playing if you're interested in these characters but adjust your expectations beforehand.

What a mess of a game...

This game attempts to use the medium of hentai games as a way to tell complex and disturbing stories, but ultimately fails on its delivery and writing of said story.

The story tells itself not by the will of its characters or world, but by the godly will of its author.

I just finished the game and I'm depressed as fuck right now. There are heavy spoilers in my review as usual, so you've been warned.

Pros:

• The writing is phenomenal and ties into the Kristen game very well. It gives context to her character that cannot be stated. (I don’t forgive her for what happened though.)
• The build up is great. You feel the foreboding atmosphere from the very beginning, but Pinel does her best to ignore it despite the many red flags. From the moment Kristen is introduced, everyone’s fate is sealed.
• The NPCs are all shown to have a life in the little village. You talk to them every time you return to the dungeon and you get to understand how life is. The simple but hard life Pinel and Meiri have while also being a tiny pillar to the people in the village. It makes for the end of part 1 even more tragic with the graphic descriptions of the fates of the many villagers that you have spoken to for most of the game.
• Pinel’s descent into madness is a real tragedy. I ended up losing my data when playing Failure Witch Iris but I made it past the desert area. When I saw her for the first time, I felt something was off about her. I noticed her love for bloodshed and the fact that she had no problem killing the boss of the area after the trio left. Like, there was so much venom that I did wonder what happened to her. Iris is a very light-hearted game, so that caught me off guard. With this game, it gives so much context to what she was doing.
• Meiri’s character is beautifully crafted. The poor girl had so many dreams and had so much heart and compassion for others.

• One of the preview images actually hides a plot point. Once you actually get to that scene, the image is completely different. I’m surprised that the author isn’t afraid to play with a different type of fetish as a result. In context, the scene is even more disturbing.
• When Kristen joins up with you, she automatically wins the battles for you. She’s the strongest soldier so it makes sense, but it makes trying to heal or use items pointless because Kristen just kills almost everything but bosses in one hit.
• Gameplay is very simple. There is battlefuck if you take too long to actually do anything, but there are plenty of scenes with the monsters and the human enemies.
• There’s a lot of porn that caters to big breasted fans and obscene expressions and moans. First half of the game is monster fucking and the second part is all human.
• The dramatic irony during the last scene of part 1 really gets me. When the trio see the sunset at the top of the summit and then go down the hill, the game specifically brings up how Meiri is holding Pinel’s hand in one and Kristel’s hand in the other.

Cons:

• This might just be me but the game’s menu lags to a huge extreme. At first I thought it was because of my computer, but I don’t think that’s the case because nowhere else in the game does it ignore my inputs. The title screen, moving around the village and the dungeons are perfectly fine. It pissed me off because it meant that if I wanted to equip something or use items, it became a chore to just open the menu. So I didn’t open it that much.
• The item shop never really changes after you are given the option to buy tents. I would think with how potions and energy potions are sometimes dropped by enemies that they would show up in the shop. It never did, so I was kind of annoyed. Granted, you don’t need the items in the second part of the game anyway.
• There’s no repel item to reduce the enemy encounter rate. I feel like the second part of the game needed it more due to how pointless the battles were.
• Kristen making the game easier when she joins makes it harder for Pinel near the end of part 1. While it doesn’t matter during the second part of the game, you still need to beat the mercenary boss at the end of part 1 to continue the story and over relying on Kristen can make you forget for a moment how to actually battle in a 1 v 1.
• The second part of the game is not so great gameplay wise. You have to literally traverse the same dungeon four times with the same result of losing to the boss at the end. This is the worst part though because the game doesn’t actually tell you that you can’t beat the mercenary boss. You can spend 15-20 minutes bringing him down to 1 HP and he never actually dies. You always have to surrender and you will always be punished as a result. From a story perspective, this was a good choice. For gameplay…I wish the game warned you about it.
• I understand why the choices don’t matter in the end. We already saw the conclusion once Pinel is introduced without her little sister. I did think for a moment that constantly stopping Meiri from being harmed meant that it would eventually accumulate to Meiri making the biggest sacrifice for her big sister…alas…

I rounded up to 5 when the score is 4.5. I enjoy games that have great story telling. It gets me invested in the overall universe and it makes me ready to dive into War Demon Kristen and finish Failure Witch Iris (or get back to that point of the game). This game really isn't for the faint of heart with how sad and hopeless this game is.

For the sake of filling this hgame with hscenes. Anyway, i will rate this hgame by these categories : Translation, Story, Gameplay, Hscenes.

Translation 4/5 - I think it's fine... Most of things are translated, except for explanation for battle in key items section.

Story 4/5 - Maybe the only redeeming thing in this hgame? Story feels like the one which you see in usual Hgames, but in 2nd part it turns dark. I do feel that it's way too prolonged and could have been done in different and proper way. But i guess that's how devs decided to explain 1.3gb of space requirement

Rant : Goddamn... For me, Kirsten only proves further that she is a kid, instead of a proper person at adult age. I say this, considering her dialogues in WarDemon Kirsten. I saw teens which were more mature than this piece of "strong" immaturity

Gameplay 2/5 - Average dungeon crawler with pretty annoying combat. Goblins which tank entire hits or 'INVINCIBLE' mercenary leader in 2nd part, which receives damage but can't die, due to always having 1 hp. This was super annoying. I won't say that this hgame is difficult, it's rather easy one. But encountering same boss 3-4 times in a row and lowering his hp to 1, was infuriating.

Hscenes 4/5- Low amount of Hscenes for 1.3gb of space. But art improved, compared to previous hgames from this dev. But i would agree that 2nd part had too much scenes and it felt more like torn torture at that point. Simply saying, you will have scenes where girl doesn't have an arm.

Conclusion 3.5/5 - I don't think you should spend your time on this work... Despite i rated it for such rating. It simply wastes too much of your time and it spits on your effort at 2nd part of story

I thought that the first half of this game was bad.
Slow, very few H-scenes, meaningless/under-baked combat and other systems.

Then, after thinking the game was over, what I call the second half of the game starts and oh-boy.

More H-scenes at the cost of being even slower, still implementing more combat for seemingly no reason or benefit, a story that takes a drastic shift towards being torture-porn (literally and figuratively) that only leaves me feeling depressed, which isn't what I tend to look for in my wank material.

Would have given it 3 stars if not for the last boss to not just be unbeatable. No. They made it so he can take damage but can't be killed which resulted in me wasting about 20-30 minutes 'killing' him only to realise I just wasted more of my time in a game that was already doing that a lot.

Just not enough Kirstin in this game. Pinel is fine, but it's very generic, and her VA seems like she is 55 years old...This should be a prequel xD. The scenes are shockingly few, and all pretty much the same. The story is controversal, and should be skipped, the gameplay is bland...Find a save, and look at the gallery. Still, I don't think it's worth 1.3gb

Extremely mid dungeon crawler that turns into torture porn in the end without options.

I don't played the next part that Reminscence is its prequel but this game in particular without prior knowledge is a weak 3 throwing itself to a rating of 2.

Managed to finish the game within 4 hours, mostly skipping thru some scenes that weren't my cup of tea. The plot was alright, started super lighthearted but then takes a darker twist, I know some people may not seem to enjoy it, but it didn't bother me as long as the story is told in a good way. Battle mechanics of the game felt similar to Captain Sikorsky's previous games. The only gripe with this one is the traversal, it felt wonky to me and not in a good way. CGs were great too and bonus points for the sfx.
Overall, I think it was a good read. It gets a deduction just solely for that wonky traversal mechanic (not a fan of it).

Just finished my playthrough, this was a very depressing and well written story. I genuinely recommend this to people, especially if you've already played War Demon Kirsten.

The gameplay was fine, standard rpgm combat with a fairly unique travel system from what I've seen. I barely grinded at all during my run so you'll probably be fine. Though there are a group of (intentionally) unfair enemies that you'll encounter in the second half of the story.

Gameplay length is pretty long compared to most h-games, clocking in at a little over five hours (yours will probably be longer since I skipped through a couple scenes that didn't suit my tastes).

Scenes are pretty much perfect, they cover a fair few taboo fetishes (stuff like nipple-fuck and pleasure torture). I skipped all of the scenes with Meiri though since I prefer adult women. The moan sfx really hits it all home. (btw, nun Pinel isn't around until the end of the game and has no h-scenes in that outfit)

The characters themselves are great, they all bounce off each other well and you genuinely want them to get a happy ending. I still really like Kirsten as a character, but man this adds a whole lotta context to everything, really excited to see if this plotline will be further explored in another game (Kirsten sequel or Pinel solo story both work).

Overall 5/5 rating for me, get ready to at least feel something during the last act.
