Interesting idea! I'm working on something along those lines with pre-rendered graphics into Unity to make a point and click adventure. Btw, people will bitch to no end about a game being on Unity, even though they would never know the difference if it weren't for the splash screen at the intro :ROFLMAO:

Anyways, the big problem you run into with realtime 3D is you have to make most of your assets yourself from scratch or pay for interactive licenses which can get incredibly expensive and time consuming. Most people end up just doing pre-rendered graphics because DAZ has such a HUGE library of them available and then it's easy to render still images to import into your engine.

to choose to per render or using 3d model, have to base on the game,
i don't think per render work for him because he don't want to make a story game, as per render work best for story game.

and i will advise to choose what ideal/game to make before you ask people to join or ask people for ideal , as people may leave because of the ideal.
for me , i will join if the ideal is interesting .
