Daz Rendering Is Suddenly So Much Slower

So the last couple of days, I've been trying to do some renders and they're just taking so much longer than usual. These aren't crazy renders, filled with hundreds of assets. They are simply 2 characters, in a room, a HDRI for background lighting and finally lighting for inside the room. Pretty much standard fare by what I do.

I haven't touched any of my rendering settings. I'll post screenshots for my usual settings.

This is what I usually use when I render and my renders are generally done in 15 to 20 minutes after doing 500 iterations. It's taken 10 to 12 minutes to do 5 or 6 iterations. And it's only been happening in the last day or so, so if anyone has any ideas or opinions, I'm more than willing to hear them. I replaced my old graphics card last year with an RTX 3060 and I replaced the hard drive last month, so I'm sure it's not hardware.

So any help is going to be welcome.

I'd get off any HDDs with Daz ASAP. Honestly, unless it's for a NAS, I'd move on from moving parts wherever possible.

I'd probably look at some tutorials on render settings and getting some knowledge on what they all do. It'll make your rendering a lot more efficient. Those settings are kind of all over the place and are probably hurting your render times more than they're helping.

Before I updated, a couple of files I had recently installed had come up as errors, updating the install manager had reinstalled them.
OK, that makes sense.
Overall, DAZ seems to get slower each update. At least that is my experience.
To make render shorter, i usually heavily use a Iray cam and not using any HD something something. So my average render is about upto 15 minutes, which is a number i can live with.
But then i don't make a game or something.

To me it does not, I mean.
If there are corrupt files, it should throw an error and stop rendering or at least prompt the user if he want to continue or not. But i don't use Daz so i don't know how it works under the hood.

in C4d my tool. if something is corrupt or missing it will always prompt the user if he want to continue or not.
ofc this may lead to undesired things if not addressed.

I think i should said, possibly. I log into DAz always, so if something is missing it will be downloaded.
Once you know the failings of DAZ, it is easier. I learned to live with them. C4d is too expensive for me as just playing around though. Damn, i know it from my Amiga time. Still around.
