Renpy add data folder files gone, have no saves on any game

Hi folks, I had to reinstall windows, I opted to keep my files. Now the Renpy app data folder all the games I had ever played are no longer there. I still have the save files for each game on each game folder. But when I start the game there are no saves. I tried putting the save files from the games , game folder back into the app data folder but I still have no saves!
Does anyone know how I can get them to work?
Its either that or have to restart every game I ever played!

Hmm... Can it be a right issue?

• Run whatever game
• In the preferences, put "Auto-forward time" to the minimal value
• Then start the game, and in the quick menu activate "auto"
• Let the game advance for two/three minutes
• Open the load screen, and look at the auto save (the "A" )

Normally Ren'Py should have created at least one auto save, that you should see from the screen.
If you see nothing, for some reason Ren'Py don't have the rights to access %AppData%.

If you see a save file, look in Ren'Py's %AppData% folder for the game, to see if the save file is present there.
If it isn't, there's chance that it's not the right %AppData% path, search a bit to find the right place.

If the file is there, I don't really know what can be the cause...

Thanks very much for the reply. I restarted my laptop and suddenly they were all there again, but in trying to figure out the problem I did in fact delete two seasons of a game! But oh well, at least its just one game! Cheers.
