Renpy Autoplay and other options disappearing randomly

So this has been bothering me for a long time and I cant figure out what causes this. One moment you have the bottom UI that lets you autoplay and stuff. Then its gone the next time I look for it. Is there a fix for this or at least a keyboard shortcut for auto play?

Open console :

suppress_overlay = False

But be warned, the quick menu can disappear because the author voluntarily hidden the overlay, so it can break the game visual.
