Renpy skipping cutscenes

have this weird glitch on all the games i play where the cutscene would start and instead it shows a static image of the scene before the cutscene with all the words that would have been in the cutscene all appearing as normal then when the cutscenewould have finished it just cuts to the end

Hmm, plug in speakers, headphones, or whatever audio device. There high chances that it solve your issue ; as least as I understood your description of it.
