Ren'Py Ren'py Tearing and Powersave options

in most ren'py games you can access this kind of hidden setting by using Shift+G keys on your keyboard
in here you can cap the framerate and it has options for renderer tearing powersave and gamepad
i was wondering if anyone knows what does these two options Tearing and Powersave actually do and how do they effect performance of the game if anyone knows please explain

So Disable Tearing and Enable Powersave is the best setting for performance i think
