[RESOLVED] Potential Trojan

I downloaded this game, ran it and it opened and closed itself in an instant. Then I ran a virustotal scan which came out pretty bad. Then I ran a Malwarebytes scan which came out clean. But i'm still paranoid. I may be overreacting and these could be false positives but this is the first time I've seen this many AVs flag a game as Trojan

Edit: It seems they were just False positives

Most of those AVs are the usual ones to flag something. It’s most likely a false positive.

I'm thankful for zombie OP. (ignore the whole "Plants vs. Zombies" conspiracy)

I just wish they would post it IN the thread of the applicable application with:

• The version they downloaded (OP did this, great job!)
• The platform for which they downloaded
• The host link(s) in the thread from where they downloaded
• The time/day (either UTC or with their time zone) they downloaded
• The virus checker they used for the download (OP did this, great job!)
• The screenshot showing what the results are for the download (OP did this, great job!)

With a report of the thread opening, to warn moderators that can't read all the posts, even less in real time. Or a notice in the thread dedicated to the discussion regarding potentially found malware.

since you're rating his job, it's a windows-only game and he scanned an exe
