VN - Ren'Py - Restore Her Career [v0.32] [Kalyha]

This game started good, with a solid set-up for the history. The models are absolutely amazing, the history pace goes rlly well and don't get annoying, the mc is really twisted and this makes the corruption much more real and enjoyable. If i may say, the dev really is putting effort in his game, the updates are big and you don't need to wait a lot for updates, unlike those other big games with over 1k patreons that takes too long for little content.

Characters = 6/10 (Each boob is as big as her waist! Takes it away from the realism that the dev wants to bring into the game)
Story - 7/10 (Nothing new, but there is a lot of content as of 0.2)
Dialogues - 6/10 (Needs a lot of proof reading.)

It is not as bad as the 1 star rage ratings suggest. There are lot of areas for improvement. There has already been some improvement going from 0.1 to 0.2. Hopefully it will keep trending up.

I am very biased here because the type of interaction and kinks presented are really my thing.

Objectively, this isn't a very good game. There writing is amateurish. There are some problems with the grammar but it's not the worst you will see around here. The choices are ridiculous and just rolls back when you choose the obviously outlandish things to say. Shallow characters. Blah blah blah... I won't be getting into everything, but just note that it has all the hallmarks of a very mediocre VN.

So why did I rate it 3 rather than lower? Well... I really like "dominating your mother" fetish. The MC is kind of a dunce, but he is unabashedly "evil." So at least we dodged the awkward virgin pervert MC that thinks he isn't being a sexual predator. The mother is a typical mom but we see some submissive streaks in her. This combination is pretty hot to me.

I also very much like honey select models and this game has some good choices. The tits are pretty fuckin big, but I don't particularly mind that. Some high heels representation is great too.

Basically, if you want to turn your mind off and fap to this particular fetish, you could check it out. Well, there isn't enough content yet, but maybe in the future.

Edit: I'm revising my stars to 4 stars after keeping up with this game until now (v0.10). While most of the stuff i wrote above are still true, the game really does the corruption and domination justice. The dev also works extremely fast and puts out sizable updates each time. It really turned out much better than what I thought it would in the early version.

As of 0.2, the game is looking pretty great. Has beautiful renders and is developing the MC's relationships at a good pace, most certainly keep an eye out for it!

I feel like it can be optimized a bit more though, it already is 3GB in size, for a relatively small amount of content, maybe look into different image formats or file management, idk

Looking forward for more.

This would be your tipical incest corrupting game if only it wasn't for how muc of a creepstake the protagonist he is.... he hasn't seen his mother for 10 years and not even 3 hours laters he thinks how he would want to slap her ass or fist her...while mimicking the gestures...
and the presmise of corrupting the mom through photoshoot? ridiculous, she's been a model for years, if some photographer hadn't corrupted her already, I doubt the MC will in a way that makes sens.
there are animations... like a powerpoint [resentation, you don't know if the text is supposed to show up or not, so you press anything and you miss it.
Choices don't mean shit.. you can say how you'd like to fuck your mom in the ass in front of her and it will go back to the selection.. till you get the one answer the game intends you to.

Review for Restore Her Career 0.1

I'm not writing a lot of review but I felt like this one was needed to counterbalance the one star rating that this game doesn't deserve. I will explain why.

The plot is very generic, I don't have much to say on that. It's the typical young boy coming back home who lusts after all girl he meet, family included. Some scenes are a bit far-fetched or may feel rushed but I don't think it was not in the author intention to make it very deep. The thing is, it works if you are looking for a quick fap story.

On the graphic side, the game uses Honey Select if I'm not mistaken. The models aren't the generic ones you could find in a lot of similar project, which gives a unique feeling to the game. Everyone having huge boobs isn't my fetish but as it's a personal taste, I'm not taking it in consideration into my review. The characters also change clothes which add a nice variation to the visual aspect of the game.

Speaking of choices and content, it's only the start so don't expect much, but it's not that bad either. I've seen a lot more game with even less content. Expect around 10 minutes of gameplay. Choices don't seem to matter right now, but I appreciate the fact that dumb choices are just here to entertain as the game rolls back to the choice selection after them.

Finally, as I'm not a native english speaker, I'm not so keen on the grammatical side of the textual content, but it didn't appear horrible to me.

Overall, despite its generic plot, the game still has a unique visual aspect and an overall good quality if you are not expecting a deep story.
