⠀⠀Alright, why is there a smoking toggle at the beginning? No way it's because there was some kind of public outrage in regards to presence of cigarettes, right? It just seems so silly to me.
⠀⠀How do you know a VN is made by an amateur? Right at the start a choice that leads to an immediate gameover - a classic.
⠀⠀Every woman has the same body type of a supermodel and zero skin imperfections. It's nigh impossible to approximate their age by observation, 20 y/o and 40 y/o look almost identical. Everyone has big tits. Look, I love my ample bosoms as much as the next guy, but the golden rule still applies - you gotta strike the balance, otherwise there will be no novelty or excitement.
⠀⠀If we're talking about how well they're written, well, most of them fall for MC at the first sight, as if he cast some attraction spell, so probably not that well. Some even have a bipolar disorder as it seems. One moment they say or think one thing and next they enact the exact opposite. There are 30+ love interests in total and author has no time to develop most of them any further that initial impressions, so what happens is they know each ofther for couple of days (some even less than that) and already swear eternal love and loyalty to each other.
⠀⠀MC is a Gary Stue. He's already wealthy, well-connected, stronger than Bruce Lee, fights like an MMA champion and has two girlfriends by default. He can do no wrond, everything goes his way and he irradiates alpha male hormones that women just cannot resist. He's also basically the only man in the region, all other men exist solely as his punching bags.
⠀⠀The main plot is kinda stupid and mainly serves as an excuse to meet new girls, but it's at least entertaining. And the dialogue while often serviceable, sometimes is something else, really. Tommy Wiseau would be proud.
⠀⠀MC hastily runs away from his home and family because his father's girlfriend threatened to accuse him of killing his friend? Really? She's literally got no proof! That's not how it works!
⠀⠀MC explains in detail why he left home to different characters at least 5 times. He and other characters also recite recent events to each other all the damn time. Especially in MC's head. I'm tired to sit there and go through him reiterating the same thought over and over. Are we ramping up word count or the author is just that oblivious? There is generally way too much yapping, including topics totally unrelated to any of the girls, which does seem like intentional padding.
⠀⠀The evil human trafficking syndicate couldn't find MC with all their spies and connections for almost 2 weeks, but a pair of journalists that came from another town found him almost instantly without an effort.
⠀⠀Anyways, I can keep going with examples all day long, but suffice to say the writing in this novel is subpar. Hardly anything seems believable and most answers raise even more questions.
⠀⠀Game is completely silent. Not even royalty-free library main menu theme.
⠀⠀Animations are suparare and even then they're either poorly made (extremely slow, jerky loop and lack amplitude) or are store bought assets. Sex scenes are alright. What I find annoying is that everyone completely undresses everytime before intercourse. There is light SM dynamic with a couple of characters but otherwise there is no spice in the sex.
⠀⠀Renders are mostly ok, mostly. Sometimes they are poorly compressed and show artifacts, other times the scenes are so dim, you'd have to turn up your gamma to see anything (I did download the "low quality" version, but it's still unacceptable). Often backgrounds lack props/fidelity. Sometimes image on the screen does not match text description.
⠀⠀Dumbed down to the absolute low binary choice system: it's either + point / nothing changes, pursue / end relationship, or cum inside / outside. And that's it, that's all you get to choose from. Author couldn't come up with anything better, than making you choose to complement women's looks everytime they meet to increase their affection, it seems like you get 80% of "love points" with girls by simply saying "You're beautiful", if only it was that simple irl.

⠀⠀This VN is very similar in nature to some other ones, the names of which I cannot mention because of a stupid review policy on this forum. Let's say the one where you take the role of a rising basketball player, or the one where you live with your grandmother to name a few. So if you're a fan of those, then this title will be right up your alley. I'd probably rate this a 3 for decent porn and power fantasy, but as development went on, writing detereorated quickly. I mean the bar wasn't high to begin with, but now it really sank below what is acceptable - a mixture of excruciatingly boring and embarrassingly bad.

Truthfully, it's more like a 3.5.

Reunion is a good example of a VN that needed to start with a plan and follow it through. It's been in production for 5 years, but the creator keeps coming up with new ideas and scenarios at the expense of everything that's been previously established. It's already got a massive cast but it keeps adding more characters, all while letting the main plot spin its wheels. At some point, you need to focus on what you've got and save the new stuff for your next project, and Reunion passed that point six or seven versions ago.

You've also got to take time out to appreciate the MC, who hits every point on the escapist-character checklist without slowing down. He's rich, successful, a trained soldier up against small-time hoodlums, hung like a fire hydrant, and exists in a universe where 90% of the other humans on Earth are sexually available nymphomaniac supermodels. His only character flaw is that he occasionally gets too angry to function, which his small army of lovers does not see as a bright red flag. John Ringo is taking notes.

I still download each new version as soon as I see it, because frankly, it's decent porn. Everything around the porn is hilariously overwrought, but the porn is good, and that's what we're here for. Reunion could stand to wrap it up, though, and to take itself just a little less seriously.

I'm not writing about the MC and on how many LI's there are.

1) Story: The First 14 days (In-game days) were good, days 15 -17 not so much until the very end of day 17 writer finally gets back on point with the plot.

4) Choices: Doesn't Matter LI's are on rails anyway (Good our Bad Choices picked).

5) Sex Scenes: Up to day 15 Scenes could end by the readers (players) Choice. Now the sex scenes are pathetic kinetic novel bullshit, with a pregnancy point tracker that makes no sense now, when the tracker was for the readers (players) Early on, to control which LI's pregnancy's they want.

6)When writers go down this road with Pregnancy, doing the Kinetic Novel Route Sex Scene Bullshit (automatic creampies) , it's not a game anymore that gives control it's wasting my time more than anything else.

Last, to me the writer is rushing to get done, I mean this is a rewrite after all, I believe doing Sex Scenes in Kinetic Novel forum, when a lot of work has been done with choices, is cutting corners (Lazy Production).
I'm pretty much done with writers that gain support using con artist tactics.

The story at first seems like revenge ball, but the biggest flaw of this game is the amount of girls it has, which in my opinion is an exaggeration since with so many characters there is not enough time to develop them all. In addition, the game already starts badly with the MC dating two girls, and the justification for this is ridiculous. A good harem cannot have more than ten girls, and in this one there are many more than that, so much so that the player gets lost with so many characters. I don't believe how an ugly MC like this would get as many girls as he does. The impression you get from this is that the developer doesn't know how to work with the girls he has and to compensate for this he keeps adding more and more, and look, this is very common. Anyway, this game here could be a good harem game, but it fails precisely in the character development part and in the exaggeration with girls.

The beginning was good, great even if Im honest but the longer I played the game, it was getting worse and worse. BIG problem for me that is WAS a story driven VN but now it is nothing more then a girl/women collecting game with not much story behind the caracters. The harem is so big that I almost dont remember all the girls anymore. Really a shame because this VN started great.

as someone who had almost a decade long relationship with two women, much like the MC, except they were both more sub and very much in love with each other, i do wonder why some MC's are not eunuchs.

instilling fear through aggression and threats, choking and brutality? all stick and very likely to end with a slit throat while asleep once that hatred has festered.
here i expect a girl to bite through, not blow.
so few can actually write the carrot.
why would any woman submit to a lack of trust? or respect? long term it will turn sour. it has a poor foundation to build on.

rest of the game is pretty good. clearly just a big fuck-a-thon with a decent enough story pulling along. apart from the above, it delivers enough for a spank bank. visually pleasing if you like the over-slide design artistically.

some coding flaws as even before starting i found an error just trying to look at one of the girls gallery pages. i then hit a few more during play, but oddly not on a choice, just open read. no mods or anything added so no idea why.

characters can be a little 2d and the MC has that magic cock that forgives all sins (or just kills braincells....you decide) like in many other games so the heavy sex focus is not unnatural, just the lack of lesbian content or females interaction with each other during multi scenes is a little immature in design.
the youngest was well into her elder at one point. that disappeared into the ether...

In my opinion, narrative can be improved. The story feels cobbled together. It's like the characters are reading lines from a script and lack of emotions . Progress of relationships is a little bit fast but as the game is adult game it seems normal . MC is supposed to be this compelling figure, this part really requires improvement on the other hand not all the players are brad pitt. The characters themselves are an issue. The women, in particular, feel like caricatures. Although they all have background summary (including some typos on the text) personality detail requires more attention maybe in the future some options. It's a classic case of "every woman wants him," general approach of clasical adult game..Visually, while the renders are technically proficient. The characters have a doll-like quality and clothing requires a little more attention the story timeline might require more detail to ease understanding.

The renders and animations are, undeniably, well-executed. The visuals are certainly the game's strongest asset.

I also think the core story premise, the mystery surrounding the MC's past, has potential. It's clear that a lot of work went into the game's development. And, for some players, the early inclusion of sex scenes will be a plus, I also recognize that some players might appreciate the MC's dominant personality. It's a matter of taste, but I can see how that archetype would appeal to certain audiences and lastly lack of sound and better animations might significantly improve the game play.

So...I am quite at loss from which point to start, because I feel there are many things to say in all aspects of this game.

While overall story is not bad, I had some issues, some of them quite serious. The characters seems to change their opinions instanteously at 180 degrees. I mean you introduce them, they have some motivations and purpose (while it may be stupid at least there is sometnig), but then MC goes, talks few sentences and they repent and change into devout harem members.

Or there was a certain character build up like a bad person from the beginning. During the time I played she had many occasions to behave like decent human being. But each and every time she purposely chose to be bitch again, lie again, do harm again? But why? Completely illogical. It was later somehow explained as her being addicted to gambling, but is that really valid explanation? In my opinion certainly not.

Oh yeah, and harem girls. They are all super cool with each other from the very moment they were introduced "to the family". Like, don't they have any personality? It is just not possible for that many human beings to live harmoniously wit each other all the time. And if author really has to make so many of them, maybe add some variations please? They all have a good amount of sex scenes, but since they have practically the same body type, it can get monotonous. What are differences between them? Well, breast size. But there is no small here. They vary, but only between big and huge. Why can't there be someone with small tits? Why can't there be somebody with at least slightly diffferent body shape? All of currently introduced THIRTY ONE female characters look basicaly the same. Oh yeah, there was was one with darker skin, but that's all there is for the differences.

Storytelling - it sometimes feels like because of truckload of of characters with their all problems (which are obviously all dumped on the MC), the main story unfolds very slowly. And what definitely makes it worse is... MEANWHILE. I swear, this word... Very often author wants to show us what other characters are doing in the same time. So he just says 'MEANWHILE' and proceeds to show other people. At one point there could be three or even four MEANWHILES in one moment, like it was so f*cking important to show everybody at this particular time. This is definitelly uverused mechanism in this game. I even came to hate the word itself because of it.

Oh wait, and how about Nicole route, when you could pick between Love and Sumbission at first, but then at one point it seemed like the Sub route ceased to exist as MC suddenly changed entire way he's treating her and started to talk about love?

And there is the MC himself. He's bad, okay? Really. Author wanted to create something, but ended up with bunch of contraditions and unpleasant character traits. He's some kind of ex-special soldier super tough guy, yet in the same time supposedly very loving and caring guy. And being ex-special soldier does not give you any form of situational avareness nor caution, because the amount of times when he was ambushed in absolutely stupid way was... too damn high. I don't remember now how many times exactly, but definitelly above 4. Including getting hit in the back of his head with vase by just a regular woman. Great soldier he was, huh? Btw, this seems to be major issue with this game as whole, like for example experienced police officer was also disgracefuly ambushed on intervention once.

Next thing that makes him very unlikeable would be the anger issues. There was so many times he got angry at some people. Which also contradict with his image of nice kind dude, but anyway there is something else here. Each time he promises (to himself) that he will do something with it, or he will get revenge, or he will put somebody in their place, but then never does anything. Just keeps being angry, swearing and that's it, back to the good boi second later.

Then we're moving to the graphic issues, ah oh God, the worst one is MC's face. Well I can understand that not every MC must look like handsome chad, but this one is just ugly. And perhaps it wouldn't even be and issue, but his facial expression are absolutely disgusting. Especially anger. And like I mentioned earlier, he gets angry all the time. I just can't look at his angry face, it's unbearable. There is something very wrong here, even tho I can't quite put a finger on it. Something between his overal looks, angry open mouth but otherwise lifeless face without a single wrinkle? Idk, but it does feel unnatural and very unpleasing to look at.

And for the final nail to the coffin, WTF is wrong with author and toys? There are many scenes when MC inserts something in girls pussy or ass, yet in very next renders those toys magicaly dissapear. Seriously, there can be dialogues about them, even sentences like "you will not take it out until I say", yet the image shows she doesn't have it. All. The. Time. Frankly, during the whole game I noticed only ONLY ONE SINGLE SCENE with toy, during which the toy stayed inside girl in all renders.


So yeah, even tho it is long game packed with sex scenes, it really does not deserve higher rating than 3/5

Kinda hard to rate this one. Want to give it lower, but there is a lot of content.

PROS:
- Lots of sex scenes.
- Harem building is part of the story, you're not just sleeping with different women that never meet.


CONS:
- One of the worst MC's out there, not only is he incredibly mid-looking, but he is so unlikable it's impressive.
- Boring female models. They look OK to bad, but they all look and feel the same, almost no variation. Also, most of their stories feel the same. I don't mind a huge cast of characters if they all feel different in some way.
- Lack of real choices.
- Get's boring real fast.

wow, just wow! this game shows how you can ruin a game with so much potential if you have no idea at all about how to write a story, first of all why the hell does it not have a kinetic novel tag? NOT A SINGLE CHOICE MATTERS!

you can avoid some girls for a while but later on the MC fucks everything anyway and invites them to his harem! in addition the mc is a fucking bipolar creep who suffers from narcissism and loves to go for women's throats all the time for some reason, which is a huge turn off.

the story consists mainly of telling the other characters over and over again what has happened in their absence, so that as a player you have to listen to the same statements again and again. this guy has the hardware and budget for awesome renders and nice models but clearly lacks a writer.

oh and the only dialogue you get in 90% of the sex scenes are always the same:
"Oh my god"
"Fuck me Harder"
this lines alone are the main spoken dialogue between the mc and any protagonist while fucking i bet he just copied and pasted it in every scene, there is no real dirty talk or whatsoever

I don’t know how old whoever wrote this story is, but it’s nothing more than a boyish fantasy where every woman falls for an MC that looks and acts like an ass, after inheriting a position of power simply because he’s the former CEO’s son (despite them being estranged for a decade). I swear, I’ve seen Brazzers videos with more believable plots than this one.

Exposition: the insertion of background information within a story or narrative.

This dev loves it. He spends more time creating exposition than telling a story. Exposition is used to set up a scene, it shouldn't be the scene. This is a visual novel stop telling us details and show them. This isn't a regular kind of novel, a bit of exposition goes a long way here. Furthermore, I got so bored of all the exposition in sex scenes that I started trying to skip through them to what I was hoping would be the good part (animations and character dialogue) only for there not to be any or for it to be so short I skipped over it on accident. What little dialogue there is during sex scenes isn't just short, it's repetitive. For someone who likes to be so flowery with descriptions the dev falls completely flat on character writing.


All my other complaints aren't really big deals as it's a porn game and not some triple A title with a captivating well thought out story.

Reunion is one of those harem games that favour quantity over quality. I mean, the number of girls that you get to have sex with becomes absurd. The sex scenes themselves are too frequent and put together disregarding any sense of continuity: one moment the MC is sooo down for what's going on, but hey presto: two, three or more girls come along and he can creampie them all, just like that (needless to say, he has the mandatory extra-large shlong). Then, 5 minutes later we have a shootout, the MC's life is in serious peril but hey, let's have more sex again and forget that happened. This is basically what this game is all about.

The story is interesting in the beginning but the more you play, the more stupid it becomes. Some scenes are OK (sex with your "stepmom" will be the favourite for some, including me) but as I said they are so frequent that sex becomes boring. The tiresome exposition in those scenes also helps to make them a chore. I swear, this must be the first porn game that gets me interested for the story itself and tempts me to skip the sex.

Leaving aside the silly file size (do yourself a favour and download the compressed version), technically the game is simply decent. The composition of some scenes is recycled, the characters barely look eye to eye when they are talking. There's simply nothing groundbreaking to be found here.

The girls are amazing looking, the visuals are great - but their story and everything about them is just so boooring!

And the main character himself is just such an awfully ugly dipshit douchebag crapfest piece of taint. I hate looking at him, He single-handedly ruins this game for me.
His constant whiny petulant angry face just need to go far away from this game. Then it might be worth two more stars. Seriously it would be better with a cardboard cutout than this incel loser.


Also it's a complete railroad, there's no point in any choices. And the story is basically just all about having the women stand or sit around naked talking about BOOOOORING whateverisms.

This game should be called the Emperor with no clothes - it contains nothing of note, all it's characters are naked most of the time and the main character would be better played by a vacuum.

It's always difficult for me to give anything below 3 stars to games that focus so heavily on impregnation, seeing as that's my biggest kink, but here we go.

I find issues in basically every aspect of the game. The story starts off decently interesting but quickly unravels as the focus becomes the harem and the player's choices have less and less impact, the girls are all either blushing virgins or dirty sluts with basically the same backstory (and there are too many of them for a game that wants to focus so hard on "romance"), the game isn't structured very well and the pacing's horrendous.

Biggest problem for me though, is the MC. He's both a Gary Stu and a whiny bitch who'd rather complain about anything and everything to his girlfriends instead of actually solving whatever he perceives as a problem (more often that not he's just imagining issues where there are none). He also looks like a crackhead, yet women fall in love with him at first sight when he has no presence or charm to him beyond milquetoast complements and giving everyone jobs. All this from a man with military background with enough credibility and skills to start a security company...

Final verdict, while there's a ton of content and that in itself deserves praise (hence the 2 stars), I don't think it's worth the time investment--there's better fuckfests out there, there's better stories out there.

In my opinion, this game has the most beautiful group of girls in a VN. I really liked the rendering of each one. I found that the animations leave a bit to be desired.

Regarding the story, it starts off very well, but this game exaggerates the harem aspect, adding several women to the harem with each chapter, which results in no story in the later chapters. The MC just ends up having sex with one girl after another.

There are moments when the MC is rescuing some kidnapped woman from captivity, and suddenly it cuts to him at home having sex with some girl.

I think the DEV didn't need to add so many girls, especially since the first women who appeared in the story aren't even utilized.

Another interesting point, but I think it only serves to duplicate unnecessary renderings, is that with one of the LIs you choose whether you want her with short or long hair, and with another, if you want her to have large or small breasts. So the DEV practically has to create duplicate renders for each version, which I think is unnecessary. Especially considering that this game without compression is 50GB in size.
